Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have a 9 year old Calico named Sage, who is absolutely adorable and the most loving cat I’ve ever known. Sage has a beautiful, soft coat and loves being brushed with the firminator. Sage enjoys playing fetch with balls, springs and toy mice. She greets me at the door when I get home and loves a good belly rub. She adores everyone she meets and lets them know it!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

A meet and greet is important for you, your cat, and the sitter. Giving your precious kitty a chance to meet the sitter with you present will help your cat trust the sitter when they come back when you’re away. It also helps the sitter to understand where everything is and make sure they have all instructions needed. And, of course, it’s always great for you to meet the sitter in person to get to know them and give you some peace of mind that your cat is in good hands.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I give cats their space and let them take their time coming to me. I will sit calmly on the floor and not make any sudden moves. When the cat does approach, I always let them smell my hand first before attempting to pet them. I acknowledge that it’s their space and let them take their time getting comfortable with me.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
