I’ve lived with cats my whole life, and every one has been such a unique character. Currently, I have two cats Karen (whose 19!) and Fran, whose 10. I’ve learned to be incredibly patient with all types cats, and understand they all have different moods and needs. I have watched cats for friends, and have used different services for my ow... I’ve learned to be incredibly patient with all types cats, and understand they all have different moods and needs. I have watched cats for friends, and have used different services for my own as well which has helped me understand how different cats can react to strangers entering the home. I love playing with kitties or just letting them use me as a pillow. Outside of hanging with my pets, I’m a self employed artist and choose my own work schedule which allows me to be very flexible to pop in for visits and overnights. :)

My two cats are Karen and Fran! Karen will be 20 next year, and both are the sweetest cuddliest cats I’ve ever met.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

I always think it’s important to make sure the personality of the sitter you hire will mesh well with your pets! I know it’s incredibly important to have 100% trust in the person you hire to care for your pets, and I think it’s always great to ask as many questions as you need.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I give them their time to acclimate! I never force a cat to interact with me if they don’t want to, and I try to make my presence as least threatening as possible.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
