Rye is amazing! Our senior cat can be a handful between medications, and chronic illnes. And to complicate matters, she can be territorial while we are away making it hard to manage her health needs. Rye handled her antics like no other cat sitter has, making sure she took her medication and kept a close eye on her health condition all while reliably keeping us up to date. Typically when we go on trips for longer than a week, we come back to the cat being a nervous wreck and it takes us days to get her back settled in to her routine. But this time we came back and it was like we never left. I can’t recommend Rye enough!

Best cat sitter out there! Rye’s is exceptional when it comes to cat care, making sure that all cats needs are met, not just food, but also grooming and playtime. During our last booking we had a problem of ants getting into the apartment and on cats food, Rye ingeniously set our cats food in a way place where ants could not reach it, and helped us set a bait on the balcony so that ants wouldn’t enter the house for the duration of our time out. our cats also love Rye, they are always happy to see Rye. a

From my first interaction with this app to asking clarifying questions before booking, to actually booking - it was seamless. Rye was an excellent sitter for my cat Tater. His attention to detail and doing all the things was spot on. I was very nervous to leave her as she is older, needs daily meds and doesn’t like people other than me :-/. She was spicy with Rye the second day but they handled it with ease and all went well. I usually get the silent treatment and overall not happy with you mamma energy but alas Tater was all good when I returned - a clear testament to Rye’s great energy and meeting her essential needs while I was away. :) I highly recommend Rye!

Rye even placates to my silly whims, like making sure Emmie's cat bed is set up right in front of the window so she can bird watch comfortably. Emmie can be a little mischievous, and Rye has even cleaned up small messes like when my cat broke into a bag of litter or tipped over her water feature. It gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing Rye is there keeping an eye on things and giving my cat some love while I’m gone. They were great with handling all the basics (food, water, litter), and even helped with other household things like mail and bring in the garbage cans on garbage day. Rye was so great to have as a cat sitter. They sent us many pictures every day and cute helpful little notes about what the cats were up to. They also sent us a note every day when they left and locked the door of the apartment. We felt like the cats were in such good, caring hands the whole time we were gone. It is very difficult to give pills to our cat. Rye was adaptable when there were pill issues and came early the next day to make sure our cat got her medication.

Rye took care of my two little fur balls when my family was 4500 miles and 8 time zones away. They kept in constant communication with me during the two weeks we were away. They sent pictures of my fluffy ones, and made sure I knew when things happened that were out of the ordinary (like my young cat who “decorated” the house with yarn that he extracted from the knitting box! 😹) Rye was flexible with our plan and gave ideas for different things that came up (like the older cat not eating much). Rye is great. My cat is super comfortable with them despite being otherwise skittish. Having Rye come around while we're away gives us peace of mind.
