Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have 3 kitties (2 of them are mine) living at home with me. My first is Duncan, 4yo black cat, then Sabine, 2yo tortie, and my sister’s cat Gideon - a great lumbering teddy bear of a cat.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

My cat Duncan is a real escape artist and can even open windows. We have a microchip and airtag on him at all times as well as a system to ensure that windows and doors are always secured. I understand the importance of keeping things cat-safe and cat proof and am happy to take whatever measures needed to give you peace of mind.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

Cats that are timid need space and someone who can really read their body language. I am good with doing very gradual introductions and doing low-stimulation interactions to encourage and build trust. There are many way to engage an anxious kitty that don’t involve getting in their business

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
