To start, I have done about 6 years cat volunteering at animal shelters. I am used to cats with all sorts of temperament. I am experienced and comfortable with cats and their needs. Additionally, I am looking to improve my skills by getting involved with specific areas of shelter work, such as veterinary care, at a local animal shelter. Currently, I am able to meet the minimum requirements for cat care.
A little about myself, I have an adorable hamster! I am a community college student, so flexibility is guaranteed. As a note, some evenings I am unable to care for your pet. Please communicate with me regarding evening requests for bookings.
My routine when I cat-sit will be checking the cat’s necessities. Replenishing their needs. Cute photo updates of course. Lastly, lots of pets and love for the kitty.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
My first experience cat sitting was with a church friend’s friend. I enjoyed hanging out with the cats and just making sure they were taken care of. They were pretty shy, but I fed them churus and cleaned their litterbox. I loved their curpus quiet nature. I hung out with them for a little, since it was a short check-in. It was a great first experience that showed me the ropes in cat-sitting.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Cat-sitting is a very rewarding experience for me. I receive lots of joy from playing with cats. I love seeing them active and happy. Swatting those toys and jumping around. I really believe every cat deserves cuddles and love.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
I believe communication is important. Being clear about what you need for your cat will help me be the best cat sitter I can be. I want to give my clients the best care I can offer, and that is achieved through clear communication.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I have an open flexible schedule, but the only thing you have to look out for is that my holiday evenings are typically busy. If we work around that, I am able to care for your cats holidays, as long as it is in the morning. I would love to care for your cats, so please consider booking me for Holiday mornings!
What is your favorite cat toy?
Fish or feather toys always seem to engage a cat. Those springy toys also are great. Some cats seem obsessed with those. Especially the crazy active kittens. Anything with catnip seems to also make cats go crazy. Some cats don’t really care for catnip, which is funny. I suppose every cat reacts to catnip differently.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I have been around many different cats. I feel like I understand when a cat feels anxious. It’s scary to see someone bigger than them. I try to approach them slowly. I comfort them in a nice voice so they don’t feel scared. I go at their pacing and let them come to me when they feel ok around me. With timid animals, they need patience and a calm approach so they don’t get spooked. The shy ones just need some time to get used to you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
