Hey there! I’m Lia, a dedicated cat lover based in Orange County. I am the proud caretaker of a black kitty named Carmy (though he feels more like my familiar the majority of the time), who indeed is name after Carmy from the *The Bear*. Carmy has a cousin named Gomez (my roomate’s cat), an elegant tuxedo cat (who I affectionately dubbed a gentleman spy). Growing up surrounded by pets, I developed a deep love and appreciation of animals. Attending zoo camp in elementary school and watching Animal Planet further increased my interest in them.

I’ve always loved that no two cats are completely alike. They are unique, individualistic yet social creatures, each with their own personality and quirks... Hey there! Cats have always been drawn to me, and I often hear, "Wow, my cat likes you, and they usually don’t like strangers!" I’ve cared for my friends and family’s cats and dogs on numerous occasions, and I’m the first person they call up to do so.

Currently, I am a PhD candidate in English Literature, which allows me a flexible schedule to cater to your cat’s needs. I am available in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and I can cover neighborhoods in and around Irvine.

As a Meowtel sitter, my goal is to provide loving, attentive care to every kitty, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and cherished. Rest assured, your furry family member will be in good hands with me. Whether it’s just playtime, feeding, or just some cozy company, I’m here to ensure your cat feels loved and cared for in your absence.

Lia was amazing! She was prompt and easily followed all of the instructions. She was super pati not with my cat who hates his medicine, even when he really didn't want to take them. She also was friendly enough with my shy kitty for her to come out! She sent photos every day and I was so happy to see my kitties thriving under her care!!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
