I’ve been cat sitting for friends and family for over 5 years, caring for cats of all ages, temperaments, and needs.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Cats have their own unique personalities, and I love getting to know them one-on-one. It’s an honor to care for someone’s furry family.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

One of my favorite cat sitting experiences was with two senior sister cats who were known for being very independent and cautious around new people. I gave them space at first and let them come to me on their terms. By the second visit, they were waiting for me at the door, eager for treats and brush time. It was such a great feeling to earn their trust and see their personalities shine through. Building that kind of bond—especially with more reserved cats—is one of the most rewarding parts of cat sitting for me.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes! I live with 10 wonderful cats, each with their own unique personality. I have seniors,kitttens and special needs cats including one with cerebellar hypoplasia and asthma. Their names are Chinbi, Mimi, Haru, Lulu, Emmie, Buffy, Nori, Casey, Ember, and Zoey. They’re not just pets they’re my babies. My experience caring for such a diverse group has given me a deep understanding of feline behavior, medical care, and how to make each cat feel safe, seen, and loved.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I start by learning everything I can about your cat and their routine. I want to know what makes them happy, what comforts them, what to watch for, and how you like things done. During the first visit , I give your cat space, speak softly, and let then approach on their terms. I always follow your care instructions closely and check in with thoughtful updates so you can feel confident while you’re away. My goal is to make the process easy and stess-free for both you and your cat.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I take a very patient and respectful approach, always prioritizing the cat’s boundaries and comfort. I avoid sudden movements or loud sounds, get low to the ground, and speak softly to creat a calm environment. I let them sniff my hand and decide if or when they want to engage. If a cat prefers space, I honor that and quietly stay nearby so they know they’re not alone. I’ve cared for many anxious or shy cats, and I understand that trust takes time. I’m here to support them in whatever way makes them feel most safe.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
