Along with my pet sitting experience, I volunteer at least four hours each week at CatNap Hangout & Adoptions... Hi, My name is Jordyn! Caring for animals has always been a passion of mine, and I've been pet sitting for nearly six years. During that time, I've cared for cats (and dogs) of multiple ages, breeds, and personalities—from playful kittens to senior cats, as well as shy, anxious, and high-energy kitties. Acknowledging that every cat is different, I always take the time to learn their routine, respect their boundaries, and provide care that helps them feel comfortable and secure while you're away.
Along with my pet sitting experience, I volunteer at least four hours each week at CatNap Hangout & Adoptions. There, I work hands-on with adoptable cats by cleaning, feeding, socializing, playing, and helping them build confidence in a new environment with new people. This experience has strengthened my understanding of cat behavior and taught me how to care for cats with a wide range of temperaments and needs.
When you trust me with your cat, you can expect dependable care, plenty of love and attention, and regular photo updates so you always know how they're doing. Whether your cat enjoys interactive play, quiet companionship, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I'll make sure they receive the individualized care they deserve. What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cats is their unique combination of independence, curiosity, and affection. I love how agile and graceful they are, whether they are jumping, climbing, chasing toys, or exploring their surroundings. Playing with cats is one of my favorite parts of caring for them because each cat has their own personality and way of interacting. Animals have also had a meaningful impact on my emotional well-being. Spending time with cats helps me feel calmer, more present, and emotionally balanced. Their companionship brings comfort and joy, and caring for them gives me a sense of purpose. I love building trust with cats and creating a safe, positive environment where they feel happy, comfortable, and loved.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a kitten named Blossom. She is the best kitty I know and she is the most perfect adorable lovebug there is out there. She is my soul cat and wouldn’t trade her for anything.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
When caring for anxious cats, I prioritize patience, respect, and building trust at their own pace. I never force interaction and allow cats to approach me when they feel comfortable. I use a calm voice, slow movements, and careful observation of their body language to understand their needs and boundaries. I help anxious cats feel more secure by maintaining their routine, providing a calm environment, and using positive reinforcement through treats, play, and gentle attention. My experience volunteering with cats has helped me work with a variety of personalities, including shy and nervous cats. My goal is always to create a safe, stress-free experience where every cat feels comfortable, respected, and cared for.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
