"This was the first time I arranged for a cat sitter. I used Meowtel because an associate of mine does side work as sitter through it. Making reservations was very easy, although there was what I consider a significant bug in the system, where I began the reservation on the MLK Day holiday, which incurred an increased holiday rate, but it was also applied for the entire week. As it turned out, I had to push my schedule out a week and avoided that rate entirely. That said, rescheduling was no hassle, either. Brandy was great. She always messaged me when she arrived and then sent pictures and videos of my boy and her playing with him. This was the first time in my one boy’s life that I was away for more than a couple of nights. Having a reliable person come in to feed and scoop for them eliminated the anxiety of being gone for an extended period."

Cathy is super friendly, communicative, sent daily photos & updates, and went above and beyond what she was asked to do. She vacuumed and I was able to come home to a clean house after a long week of travel. She offered to hold onto the keys just in case something happened on my flight home, so the cats would be looked after. She also helped pick up the slack of the other person that was supposed to come check on my cats. I also really appreciated that she asked to coordinate a meet and greet beforehand. Highly, highly recommend! And she does dogs too — animal whisperer all around :)"

There's a lot of places to leave detailed information about you, your cat, and the kind of care she/he needs. Overall, I like the site and love the service. "Jade is absolutely fantastic. She is super reliable, easy and fun to communicate with, remembers every little detail, and clearly knows how important those tiny details are to cat parents. She went out of her way to give my cats LOTS of play time, because I emphasized how important that is to keeping them sane while I'm away. I told her I'm always happy to receive updates about her cat sit visits, so she sent me pictures and reassured me about the duties she had done so I can have a peaceful mind and not worry if the important things had been done. I ended up needing cat care for one more day than we had planned, for the day after Christmas. Luckily, Jade came to the rescue and was able to come be with my cats one extra day that we didn't initially plan. I would trust her with my cats anytime and when I came home I was surprised to see how calm and happy they were. She took unbelievably good care of them and I could tell she really loved them too! Thank you Jade, you have been a lifesaver! My cats love you!"
