Samantha is incredible. From the moment she arrived for our meet and greet, she got right down on the floor to be at Taylor's level, and if you know cats, you know that matters. Taylor is skeptical and nervous by nature, so the fact that he was curious rather than hiding was a huge deal. It's clear that animals, especially cats, are a genuine passion for her. She came with thoughtful suggestions to help him feel more at ease, including cat TV, which he's now very grateful for. I'll be honest: Taylor can be a bit grouchy with people he doesn't trust yet, and he has some health issues on top of that, which makes finding the right sitter a real challenge. Samantha is the first sitter who didn't write him off. Instead, she's patiently working to earn his trust, and she clearly understands that underneath the wariness, he's an incredibly sweet and loving cat. I can't tell you how much that means to me. We recently moved to SF and finding a sitter Taylor and I both felt good about was one of my biggest concerns. We absolutely hit the jackpot with Samantha. Thank you!

This was the second time Samantha has cared for Taylor, and the first while I was away for an extended period. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was incredibly in tune with Taylor’s personality, mood, needs, and overall health, and I always felt confident he was in caring, capable hands. She kept me updated throughout my trip with thoughtful communication, which gave me so much peace of mind. When she noticed Taylor seemed a little lonely, she even spent extra time with him just to keep him company, knowing how much he values that attention. She also noticed a few issues around my apartment and proactively let me know right away, which I really appreciated. It’s incredibly hard to find a pet sitter who cares the way Samantha does. She wasn’t just there to complete the visits. She genuinely wanted to build a connection with Taylor, even though he’s a shy, cautious cat who takes time to warm up to people. That level of patience and care is rare, and it meant so much to me. I trust Samantha completely with Taylor and would happily book her again.

Sam was an absolute godsend. From the moment I left, I felt completely at ease knowing my cats were in her hands. her daily recap videos made it clear they were not just cared for, but genuinely loved. she’s also hilarious - I looked forward to her videos every day. Samantha was nothing short of spectacular. I'm sad I can't bring her to Chicago with me when we move. I was a little nervous leaving my shy cat with a sitter for so long, but Samantha made sure both Charlie and I were taken care of the whole time. By the time I'd landed at my destination I already had a super thorough update on a successful visit where Charlie came out from under the couch (she does not do this with strangers). Every day of my trip I had extremely thorough photo and video updates of Charlie- I knew she was in excellent hands. Visits went so well we bumped them up to twice a day to get more enrichment time for my very active cat! Always provides excellent and timely updates regarding our two cats. This most recent sit, Samantha noticed a pipe leaking in our sink and rapidly removed items and cordoned off the area for us to keep our cats away. Could have ended poorly but instead her rapid and sensible actions ensured our cats were safe until we could have a contractor stop by!

She came the same day for orientation and was very pleasant and professional. while I was gone she won over one of the two cats who is very afraid of strangers. Samantha is a treasure among cat sitters! She is dependable and conscientious, and so caring towards her clients. She is very gentle and attentive with our fur baby, who usually can become stressed and agitated when we’re gone. But Cookie has become so comfortable with Samantha she now will eat Churu treats right from her hand! We appreciate the thorough updates with photos & videos from each visit. It is difficult when we have to be away and leave Cookie at home, but having Samatha makes it easier and less stressful on all of us!

I’ve been lucky enough to have Samantha cat sit for me several times and she always goes above and beyond in her care. My cat is madly in love with her. While I was away this time I was a little concerned that he hadn’t been eating very much and she made an extra check on him and was able to coax him to eat. Samantha is absolutely, unequivocally THE BEST! She has taken wonderful care of our senior (age 15) Honey Bee for over a year now and every time we leave Honey Bee we are more that satisfied--we actually feel a little inadequate as Honey Bee's parents. She plays bird videos for Honey Bee who is deaf and (as Samantha says) needs the extra sensory stimulation. She is very reliable and our Honey Bee a/k/a The Queen has medication twice a day and lots of other special needs--drinking water out of the various sinks in the house, etc. I appreciate this App because it has led us to Samantha.

Samanta was great taking care of my elderly cat, Coco. I was so grateful that she was able to kitty sit for us with so little notice before my departure. Samantha is an INCREDIBLE cat sitter! We have two young kittens that we were leaving for the first time, and her excellent communication and thoroughness really put us at ease. She always responds super quickly, and sent us frequent updates, pictures, and videos of very happy fur babies. In our eyes she really went above and beyond and cared for our kittens like they were her own. Our younger boy was sick right before we left, and Samantha gave him his oral medicine and took his temperature at every visit. On top of that, she left our place spotless and had some great kitten-proofing tips (which we really needed!). Basically, we are elated to have found the ideal cat sitter, and I know our kittens are already excited for the next time they get to see her.

Samantha was incredible checking in on my cat while I was away. Not only is she super friendly, but she's accommodating in every way. She made sure to ask if there was any preferred times to stop by, if she should hold onto my keys or return them to the front desk, and even double checked his medication timings since my Meowtel profile was out of date! Every day she stopped by she sent a friendly update along with a bunch of videos to help me see how things were going. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Samantha provided us with lots of videos and pictures while we were away which helped set our minds at ease. She was super responsive when we had trouble accessing the app messages and sent them via text instead per our request. Most importantly, our cat was really well cared for - lots of interactive play time, daily litter scooping and she followed the feeding schedule perfectly. Samantha has been our cat sitter for a few years now and we wouldn’t let anyone else watch our pets. Our cats hide under the bed when any guests come over, even our regular visitors, but they come running down for Samantha! She’s truly a cat lover and it shows.

Samantha was amazing as always! She took wonderful care of Cleo while we were out of town. She made sure her water fountain and bowls were always cleaned and topped up, and was meticulous about updating us on her habits. Cleo isn’t the friendliest cat we were worried that she wouldn’t get enough social interaction and play, but Samantha did a great job of coaxing her out of her hiding spot. It’s always stressful leaving our cat at home, but booking Samantha eased that stress. Will of course book again!

Samantha has a great touch with Merry who is incredibly shy due to his twice daily medication routine. She was able to provide helpful and frequent updates for both pf our cats.

Samantha is amazing! We were traveling afar and she still made us feel very close to our animals every day, through videos, updates, and lots of pictures! She goes above and beyond in taking care of our pets, even giving one of our kitty cats her chemo medicine which is not easy. Where is the 6/5 stars option?! I've had a variety of cat-sitters through Meowtel & other services. Samantha has been my go-to kitty caretaker for - wow - twelve reservations so far and sets the bar for excellence so high that it's hard to consider booking anyone else! Punctual, communicative, has clear adoration for our babies, speaks cat fluently (our timid boy, Jean-Luc, is a puddle in her arms), and goes above and beyond to make sure our little ones are happy, loved, fed, and comfortable. Worrying about our cats while travelling is something that I've not felt since we've started having Samantha take care of them! I highly recommend her services.

She is a surrogate mom to Honey Bee while I am gone. I think her extraordinary achievements are due to her work ethic, her conscientiousness, her intelligence and her innate goodness and kindness as a person. She has sent multiple videos to me in my absence showing me how Honey Bee feels about her, including ones of Honey Bee wrapping herself around Samantha's legs. The fact that she has four cats of her own is also a plus. I unreservedly recommend her to take care of your loved ones.
