I do not have my own cat yet as I've been waiting to settle down and figure out my travel schedule. I moved to Colorado a little over a year ago for a job with a camera company, and absolutely love it out here. I want to get my cat fix in until I feel ready to get my own, and what better way to do it than cat sit?

Teresa is so kind and she is exactly the person you want to be watching your cars. Our cats (2) generally are self sufficient but one of them was just recently put on an antibiotic pill and we had a trip right around the corner. Teresa was quick to respond to my extremely last minute initial request, came to meet our kitties the next day (on Christmas!) and watched them the next three days. In addition to the basics (litter/food/water), she gave Jack his pills, turned on JoJo’s favorite toy, and sent us pictures and updates every visit. We are so grateful for Teresa, we were able to enjoy our trip knowing our cats were well taken care of. I would give Teresa 6 stars if I could!

Teresa was great! She took great photos and videos of our two cats and took great care of them. We recently adopted a 6 month old kitten and our resident cat and the kitten don't get along, so we have to keep them separate. Teresa was great about keeping them separate and playing with them separately in the common areas. Highly recommend Teresa!

This is the 2nd time Teresa has taken care of our cats, and it was an excellent experience again! She is attentive to the cats, making an effort to interact and play with them. I forgot about the wet food this time, but she had all the information from our first trip, so she was able to still get the cans and give our kitties a treat. We'll continue to go to Terry as long as she's available!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Arvada cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Teresa was a wonderful sitter! She communicated well when she stopped by and sent pictures of our kitties, which was much appreciated! Our shy boy even came out and said hello on day 3 (with picture proof!), so I know Terry was really making an effort to play and spend time with them.
