David was incredible. I messaged him the day I had to go out of town asking for his help caring for my 5 year old kitty Winnie, who was just diagnosed with an eye infection (that morning at 7am 🫠). He was quick to respond to my request and initiated a phone call so we could talk through Winnie’s medication needs which were every 8 hours for 5 days. I thought no way would anyone sign up for that, in general, certainly not day of my reservation request and FOR SURE not over NYE. But David listened to Winnie’s needs and agreed to help care for her the full 5 days I was out of town. A literal miracle. He was consistent in his arrival times to administer Winnie’s medication and always sent an update with photo afterwards — even at midnight when one of her doses was due. I cannot recommend David enough to care for your kitties. He blew my expectations out of the water and is the only cat sitter I’ll book moving forward. Thank you, David!! ❤️

David always takes good care of our 2 kitties including our diabetic cat Sparky. David gave Sparky insulin shots twice a day from syringes we prefilled. He played with them both and managed the challenge of keeping both cats fed in separate rooms. He scooped the litter boxes, filled the water dishes and sent photos daily. We absolutely trust David to care for our home and our pets while we are out of town.

As always, David was excellent and I felt confident that my boys were very well taken care of. I tend to leave very lengthy notes and instructions for when I’m out of town. My older Kitty needs daily medication and the younger one is very shy, but they both took well to David. He always sends lots of photos with great updates each time he’s over. Will always highly recommend him if you’re looking for honest, reliable help to watch over your babies when traveling.

I got a notification in the afternoon that someone had come in. I knew Dave had forgotten his sunglasses and expected him to return, but didn’t expect him to actually visit with Tallulah, as he had already fulfilled his daily visit, but he did. He was concerned because she hadn’t eaten the food he put down that morning. I think that is waaay above and beyond his duty and indicates just how much he cares for the fur babies under his watch. He’s an amazing pet sitter, a great human, and I highly recommend him.

I had never had anyone watch the cats that wasn’t family before so I was super aprihensive but didn’t have any other options. Not only did Dave show up on time (for our post-diabetic boy), come clean the boxes and feed my kitties he also hung out and sent me a plethora of photos each time to reassure me that everything was good with them. I looked forward to hearing from him each day but never worried, they were in great hands.

Dave was so wonderful and we will definitely be using him again! He helped us save some money by working with Meowtel to allow the shorter drop-ins for our 3 cats and was absolutely wonderful with them. We have a baby who has heart disease and needs a pull every day and she did so great with him, he is probably better at giving it than we are! He took the best pictures that really helped fill the void we always feel when we leave and alleviated the mom guilt of being gone. We can't recommend him enough!

Dave knows cats! When I return home my cats are always happy to see me and never stressed. One cat requires insulin injections twice a day and another cat requires pills twice a day. Dave understands the importance of administering these medications correctly and at the same time everyday. He is a great communicator and the only person I feel comfortable entrusting my cats to.

Dave was great cat sitter! Schultz, our senior kitty, gets lonely and stressed when we travel. Typically, after being boarded, he takes a day or two to get back to himself. Not this time! We were so excited to try Meowtel and really lucked out finding Dave. Schultz, not one to greet strangers, came right out to meet Dave during our “Meet and Greet” without any issue. Dave was kind and friendly. He was very respectful of our home and needs/timing. He even offered to water our garden while we were away and brought in our mail! One evening, we even had an issue with our security system going off while Dave was leaving and he handled it very well - sorry about that, Dave! He was very communicative and we loved getting updates and pictures of our boy each day. Knowing that he was eating well and staying active/playing gave us reassurance that he was in great hands! Dave is the best! Our oldest cat passed away less than 2 weeks before our trip, so I let Dave know that I would probably be extra needy and would want more photos of our two remaining cats as well as more texts and Dave delivered. So happy to know they were in good hands.

Dave is the best! We have 3 cats ranging in age from 5 months to 20 years old. I haven't gone anywhere without my 20 year old in ages, but we're getting married out of town so we had to find a sitter while we went to visit. We needed an extra day this reservation and our cat had to have ointment put into his eye each day, both of which David happily provided for us and allowed us time with our family. David watched our two cats while we were gone on vacation for 6 days. We have one adult cat and one kitten. Planning the meet and greet with David was super easy and he was very flexible. While on vacation, David gave us detailed updates about the cats and sent us several photos every day which we really appreciated. He was more than capable of meeting the needs of both of our cats and even formed a connection with our adult cat who is anti-social. Dave did a great job as always. Our newest cat, who is also a senior cat is still quite timid even around us, but he didn’t hide from Dave this time. Dave sent us regular pictures of all 3 of our cats and even made sure the potted plants on the deck didn’t drown when we had a ton of rain. I have a territorial and anxious cat who does NOT like people coming into her space when her parents are away and she makes it known. This is often a major sense of stress for us when leaving her alone. David was not at all afraid of her and was able to visit her while respecting her space and keeping in contact with us. He is kind, efficient, and I look forward to using his services again.

Dave knows my cats and my cats know Dave! Dave cares for my cats as if they were his own and is a great communicator. Dave is very experienced with giving insulin shots and pilling cats. He does a great job and always makes sure the medication is administered with the correct dose at the correct time.
