I was two time zones away and was so anxious that my cat would not get the care she needed. I never want any cat parents to feel that way, and so it is my promise to you that I will provide exactly what your cat needs. 🧶

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I want to know all about your cat! Tell me their habits, preferences, and favorite things. I will follow your instructions to the word, because I know how important it is to feel at ease knowing your cat is in good hands.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
It’s so important to be confident that your kitties are safe! I always double checked that I locked the house door behind me when I leave. While inside the house, I’ll keep an eye out for any hazards, such as broken glass, and clean up any messes that may have happened. I also wash my hands before and after touching your kitty.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I have had some very anxious kitties of my own and I believe that only when they feel safe and comfortable do they start to relax. I will not chase or pester kitties that are hiding. I will calmly offer them food or treats, and I’ll give them the opportunity to approach me if they feel comfortable.

Jaclyn did an amazing job taking care of our two kitties while we were vacationing in Asia. I usually get nervous leaving them for long trips, but during our initial meet-and-greet, one of our cats immediately warmed up to her — that’s when I knew she was the right person. Throughout her visits, she communicated clearly with thoughtful updates on how the cats were doing. She kept the litter box clean (our two definitely keep it busy!) and sent plenty of photos and videos that reassured us they were happy and comfortable. When we came home, the kitties looked relaxed and well cared for. Thank you, Jaclyn, for your care and attention. We’d definitely book with her again.

Jaclyn is the best! We have never used Meowtel before and needed to find someone trust worthy for our 2 cats (ages 2 & 12). Our older cat takes medication and Jacyln was able to give her meds, play with them and take care of all of the details while we were out of town. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
Denver cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet!

Jaclyn could not have been a more perfect pet sitter. I was going through a really hard time leaving my cat when for a wedding when I knew she was on the decline from a terminal illness, and Jaclyn helped me feel like I was still in the loop and made me feel sure my baby was getting all the love she could in a distressing time. She kept up with her meds and sent tons of pictures. I lost my cat while away, which was extremely difficult, but she helped make it easier by checking in with my other cat and leaving a condolence card. Truly an angel that I would definitely use again.

Jaclyn did an amazing job caring for our cat Toby. We hired her on rather short notice, and she was super accommodating and flexible. She paid great attention to detail. She was also an excellent communicator, always responding quickly to messages and providing detailed updates with cute photos while we were gone. She even cleaned up the kitty litter around Toby's litterbox before we returned home, and she left us a super sweet, handwritten thank you note. We felt totally confident with Toby in Jaclyn's care and would hire her again in a heartbeat!

I am new to the area and had to extend a work trip and didn't want to leave my cats for too long by themselves, especially with one being a senior cat. Our reservation with Jaclyn completely exceeded my expectations. I needed a sitter on a short notice and Jaclyn flew in to the rescue. She is sweet, knowledgeable and has a way with the shy kitties. I was so nervous about leaving my female alone because she’s very timid, but I could see by the great photos Jaclyn sent that my kitty loved her! Jaclyn provided photos, videos and great updates each time she came to visit my two kids. She followed my instructions down to the last detail and was so kind when I’d go into crazy cat mom mode and send her messages on things I forgot to mention during our meet and greet. Her responses were always prompt and just seeing how much my kids loved her warmed my heart and kept me at ease while I was gone. I was never worried about them under her care. Jaclyn was fantastic with our elderly, shy and sometimes unfriendly kitty. She was able to coax her into coming out for pets and socializing while we were away...which is not always easily done based on the experience of some other cat sitters we've used! The daily pictures and updates were very much appreciated and eased our worries while we were away from home for the longest we've ever been. I would recommend Jaclyn for anyone looking to have an amazing caretaker while away from your cats!

We needed a cat sitter for our wedding weekend and all of our friends that usually cat sit were going to be at our wedding, so we were unsure how our cats would respond to a stranger (one of our cats is very shy), but Jaclyn had the perfect personality and knew how to approach and care for our cats!
