Additionally, I am a passionate believer in providing cats with mentally and/or physically stimulating enrichment opportunites! At home, it is my pride and joy to provide Miso and Bean with fun and unique enrichment activities; witnessing the immediate positive shifts in their mood and behavior never gets old!
The best part of creating these opportunities is there is something for every cat, and no act is too small: from homemade foraging boxes to simply placing their toy in a new and surprising spot, your Cat will have experienced a new day.
I know how worrisome for all it can be to leave your beloved pet at home, and I aim to alieviete feelings of discomfort through thoughtful play, attention, and enrichment.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Well of course! Kitties make the world go ‘round after all😇. I am the lucky mother of two wonderful cats, Miso and Bean, and I simply couldn’t imagine life without them. Miso’s currently sitting on my chest as I write this, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more precious biscuit making session in my life. Bean is my beautiful black kitty whose extreme mystic and whimsy can only be explained through a crash landing from Mars when he was a kitten. I couldn’t imagine life without these two, they are the sunshine and starry nights that make my galaxy complete.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
It is important to hire a cat sitter who has ample experience living with cats and currently owns at least one cat. There are so many elements that make a “good” cat owner that can only be learned through extensive time spent living with cats and learning from other cat owners and cat care professionals.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Since moving to Denver in 2023, I have stayed here for all major holidays and intend to for the rest of my time here.

Maggie is wonderful. I have an old, grumpy kitty, who barely likes anyone but me. But somehow Maggie was able to pet her. She took such good care of my girl, and it made me feel so confident being away for the weekend. Maggie is very professional and kind. I never once felt uncomfortable having her in my space.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Denver cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Very happy with the care my cat received while I was away. I always feel a little stressed having to leave her, because she is so social and loves cuddles. Maggie was very communicative and sent photos/videos during each visit and gave Fish lots of love and snuggles! I felt comfortable with Maggie immediately and comfortable knowing that she genuinely cares about kitties and that Fish would be well taken care of.
