I am very comfortable working with all types of cats: shy ones, cuddly ones, the ones who are eager to share their love and the others who make you earn their trust. I approach each new kitty client with gentleness and patience to learn their quirks and comforts. I welcome any age from kittens to playful teenagers and senior cats.
I grew up with both cats and dogs, and know each animal comes with their own specific needs and personality.
I will bring calm loving energy to your home and to your pets in general. I enjoy helping anxious kitties come out of their shell and invite them to play and engage slowly, if they’re nervous... I'm Meg, a long time cat lover and fluff aficionado and I would LOVE to watch your kitties!

I have experience giving medication (both topically and orally), eye/ear drops and disguising pills in food.

I live in SW Denver (Barnum) and happy to come to Wash Park, Cherry Creek, Cheeseman, Sloan's Lake, Edgewater, Belmar, parts of Lakewood and surrounding Westside neighborhoods. If you have any questions or specific needs, don't hesitate to ask.
Please let me know if there is a medication/scheduling need at a specific time. I'd love to meet you and help you feel at ease leaving your cats in capable hands!
*For overnights I can do 3 nights in a row and then would need to alternate with a drop in visit.
*I offer 45/60 mins visits to give new cat clients time to adjust to a new person and find it helps with the flow if we’re doing a string a visits.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been cat sitting for over 20 years. I love all kinds of cats and enjoy getting to know them, their personalities and needs. I am happy to provide cuddles, make sure they have fresh food, water and a clean litter box of course. Happy to answer questions and accommodate their needs.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love getting to know the cats ~ their interest in play, cuddles, or space. So often during a visit they’ve been kind of lonely without their parents, so it’s nice to show up and provide some extra love!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Happy to do a meet and greet video call or in person if it makes sense with schedules. I typically have a short list of questions to make sure we cover all the details. And let you know your babies will be well cared for while you’re gone. I supply multiple photos per visit and make sure the kitties are happy and healthy!
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, happy to accommodate your holiday travel needs! You should feel good about who you’re leaving your babies with, and I’m happy to do a meet and greet video call to talk through the details so you feel comfortable.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I really enjoy working with timid or anxious cats because I know how upsetting it can be to have a new person in your home. I will sit quietly, offer treats or food if appropriate and give them lots of space to warm up.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Denver cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
