What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

My favorite part about cat sitting is getting to meet new feline friends. I love getting to know their different personalities, quirks, and behaviors.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

When cat sitting, I ensure the safety and security of the cat(s) by carefully entering and exiting doors, ensuring potentially dangerous items are put away and secured, keeping ingestion hazards away and supervising potentially hazardous toy play time (for example, wand toys). I am well versed in cat first aid, experienced in feline medical emergencies and how to handle them.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I use a fear free approach, letting the cat approach me and only interacting with positive reinforcement. If a cat is hiding under a bed/elsewhere, I'll lean down (from a distance), softly talk to them, give slow blinks, offer a sniff, and some treats as bribery. Always listening to their body language. I never force interaction, always letting the cat choose.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
