When I make a cat visit, I am thorough, attentive, and clean: I scoop litter, replenish water, feed the cat(s), administer meds, etc. based on owner instructions, and provide affection and play time when the cat is amenable to that.
I also have experience with administering medication to cats, as well (my cat currently requires steroids and antibiotics in the form of pills and liquid twice a day).
I have ample time during the week and on weekends to take care of the community's fur babies!
I reside in the neighborhood of Sunnyside, so am well-located to serve Sunnyside, Highlands, Berkeley, Regis, Chaffee Park, Mountain View, Lakeside, Arvada, Globeville, Wheat Ridge, Westminster, Broomfield, etc.
The best times for me are anytime Monday through Friday. On weekends I usually have open availability. I offer a variety of different lengths of visits (anywhere from 20min to overnight visits and in between).

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I grew up with cats and have been cat-sitting for clients, friends, and family for over 15 years now. I am comfortable with any cat type: shy, outgoing, elderly, high maintenance or easy-going. I am also skilled at administering medications.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love how every cat has their own purrsonality! I believe they are special animals that we can learn patience, love, and serenity from.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a male cat named Sashi: he is 9 years old and adorable. I also foster kittens with the Denver Animal Shelter.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Reliability is the top quality you'd want to look for in a sitter: someone that you can trust to take care of all your cat's needs and to keep you the owner informed...like me!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
We'll set up a meet and greet where you can show and explain what you'd like out of your cat sitter. I make sure all the instructions are clear beforehand and I keep the owner updated with text messages and photos during every visit.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I ensure thorough communication with the owner and get clear and detailed instructions. I make sure to get emergency contact instructions and provide updates in real-time during every visit.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I am usually available most holidays!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I give them space and respect their boundaries; I let them come to me and put the choice in their paws.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Denver cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Elliot took fantastic care of our kitties! we have an older boy who needs 4 pills a day and Elliot did a great job getting him all his doses on time. Our second time using Elliot and have nothing but great things to say. My cats are 23 and 19. Elliot is very good with the cats and they seem to like him. They have to take medicine that can be hard for some people to give them, but Elliot has no issues getting them to take them. We will continue to use Elliot and recommend you do too.
