I've loved cats all my life, from tigers being my childhood favorite animal to my current status as a provider for my own precious 3. Until recently, it was 4; this year, I lost Trinity, my very first cat. She enriched my life for 18 years; thanks to her, I learned to manage feline diabetes, administer subcutaneous fluids, and many other ins & outs of senior cat care. Renton is going on 17- his aging years haven't been quite as educational, and I'm equally grateful for that. Ricky & Paula are siblings who fell into my lap as kittens two years ago... Hello! I hope your cat is reading this, too- to be completely honest, I hope you have more than one cat, everyone's reading this, and that I get to meet you all very soon!

They share looks and personality: 100% prickly attitude surrounding 100% adoring, cuddly warmth.
I do occasionally tear myself away when the travel bug bites. I usually rely on my cat lady sisters to mind my life's loves, but a time or two, we traveled together, and I had to board Trinity at her vet b/c no one in my circle could administer her shots. It was gut-wrenching to leave her in that environment with practical strangers.
Knowing that feeling is the foundation of my role. I have endless compassion for cats and their owners in these inevitable separations, and providing the reassurance of cat care upkeep in the comfort of their own homes is my priority. As an experienced cat sitter, I strive to reduce/eliminate the disruption of an owner's absence by maintaining their routines & environment, and meeting their ever-important socialization needs! They deserve no less than the best, coming from a place of devotion.
I am fully COVID vaccinated, a frequent hand-washer with sanitizer on hand as well, and happy to wear a mask upon request.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Denver cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Pauline did another amazing job taking care of my two cats while my family and I traveled for a week. One of our cats is painfully shy and the other pretends she doesn’t like attention - Pauline was able to get daily photos of both of them to send to us through her awesome updates. This gave us reassurance our cats were okay while we were away so that we could enjoy our trip! Even though they weren't brave enough to say hi to her during visits, Pauline took pictures from afar to let us know they were ok without stressing them out. Pauline did such a wonderful job looking after Fitz while we were away. We are very new to the city and left Fitz for longer than we ever have before so we were very worried about how she would do, but Pauline made us feel so much better with detailed updates and many pictures! We booked Pauline for our 5-day trip to watch our two kitties. Unfortunately while we were gone, we noticed one of our cats running away and not eating her dinner, while our other cat got both dinners for two days in a row. After informing Pauline, I'm still not sure both cats got fed their own dinner since we couldn't see both bowls and no photos were sent. It was a slightly frustrating experience. We didn't see Pauline interact with the kitties much at all, either playing or petting. The litter boxes were also very dirty and the water fountain barely had water in it when we returned from our trip. We most likely will not book another sitter and just get a friend to help us next trip away.
