I have 5+ years with personal cat sitting and I've gained more professional experience since I've been working with Meowtel.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

The thing I enjoy the most is definitely getting to meet new kitty's all the time and getting to explore the area around me is definitely a plus.!

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My favorite cat-sitting reservation would have to be my very first one where I cared for 3 very sweet kitties Lucy, Frank and baby Jack.! Baby Jack was so excited to see me every time I came by to check on them and the other 2 slowly gained comfort with me coming by frequently and it made me feel very good that they accepted me.!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes I sure do their names are Tuna and Pepper.! Tuna is almost 7 years old and Pepper is going on 3 years old.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Make sure you're comfortable with the sitter and most importantly make sure your cat(s) are comfortable with them as well. Always make sure you are also comfortable with how they interact with your fur babies they will let you know if they want you to choose another sitter so always listen to your babies.!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

My typical process is being very thorough when talking with them about what to expect during the reservation process especially if they have questions before booking with me, I want to make sure they're comfortable with how the process of my cat sittings work and exactly what they're going to expect of me during each visit.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I always make sure that all doors and windows are locked and secured and if there is a security system making sure it's armed when I leave as well as making sure that all kitties are accounted for before leaving.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes I am always available during the holidays, I work pretty much all year long and don't constrict my schedule as much as I can.!

What is your favorite cat toy?

My favorite cat toy is any that have catnip in them.! Or ones that have bells or are crunchy sounding those are fun.!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I take my time and I let them approach me when they're ready. I never want to make them feel extremely uncomfortable so letting them come to me is definitely my first approach.! So I go on about my business and when they gain the courage to come up to me I know they are finally comfortable.!

I knew that Priscilla was the right fit for us with the first message. She came to our house, notebook in hand, to meet us and our two cats. We talked like we were old friends. I shared my worries about leaving our cats for so long, but Priscilla reassured me several times that she would have it all under control. SHE WAS NOT KIDDING. Priscilla checked in with me before she arrived and immediately when she got home. I was sent a very detailed report of how everything went, including pictures and a video. Priscilla is kind, caring, and went above and beyond for not only our cats, but also we humans.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
