I ’m a warm, patient, and detail-oriented cat sitter and a proud cat mom to two wonderful cats, Penny and Sugar. Sugar is my 11 year old senior girl, and caring for her has given me hands-on experience with more advanced feline needs, including steam treatments, oral medications, and weekly B12 injections. Supporting her through her health routine has taught me to be gentle, precise, and extremely attentive. I also volunteer with cats at a local shelter, which has allowed me to work with many different personalities, comfort levels, and behavioral needs.

And you’ll always receive thoughtful updates and photos after every visit.
What sets me apart is my ability to earn trust from shy or sensitive cats, my real world experience caring for a senior cat with medical needs, and my calm, steady presence. I don’t just “check in” - I build a relationship with your cat and make sure they feel understood, loved, and truly cared for while you’re away. What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is the opportunity to interact with cats of all personalities and make each one feel genuinely loved and cared for. The real joy of cat sitting comes from discovering each cat’s little universe: the bold explorers, the quiet watchers, the shy ones who blossom with patience, and the chatty ones who narrate their whole day. Spending time with them, earning their trust, and giving them the comfort they deserve feels like being welcomed into a tiny kingdom of whiskers and soft paws. I also love knowing that, while their humans are away, I get to be the steady, gentle presence that keeps their world feeling safe and warm.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes, I do! I have two wonderful cats of my own. Sugar is my 11-year-old senior girl, sweet, gentle, and very affectionate. And Penny is my energetic 3-year-old who keeps me laughing with her playful, curious personality. They’re complete opposites, but they’ve taught me so much about understanding different feline temperaments and meeting each cat’s unique needs.
What is your favorite cat toy?
I love using laser pointers during playtime. Laser pointers are a fantastic way to keep cats active and mentally stimulated. It’s always a joy to watch them chase, leap, and playfully conquer the elusive red dot.

Jennifer was a great cat sitter! I could tell from our meet and greet that she’d be reliable: she was very attentive and detail-oriented, asked good questions and wanted to ensure she had the info she needed. Her visits went so smoothly, she was able to administer oral meds to one of our cats and did everything exactly as was asked. she kept us updated and sent pics to reassure all was well. If I could give Jennifer 6 stars I definitely would. She took care of my babies, played with them and from her many pictures I could see they really loved her. They both gave her 2 thumbs up, don't ask where they got the thumbs. My cats were very happy when I came home none of the drama they usually give me.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Chicago cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!
