As a cat sitter, I care for your cats as if they were my own because, for a little while at least, they are my responsibility! This means I will meet them where they are, caring for them with love, respect, and kindness. If your cat is shy, I can sit nearby and read to them until they feel safe. If your cat is an extrovert, then we’ll play... Thank you for considering me to be your cat sitter. As a guardian for three cats of my own (Kitty, Win, and Freya), I know how important it is to find a sitter you can trust. A good sitter makes sure your cat is fed and her litter box is clean. A great cat sitter is your cat’s best friend while you are away, a comforting presence at a confusing time.
As a cat sitter, I care for your cats as if they were my own because, for a little while at least, they are my responsibility! This means I will meet them where they are, caring for them with love, respect, and kindness. If your cat is shy, I can sit nearby and read to them until they feel safe. If your cat is an extrovert, then we’ll play. Your cat will tell me exactly what she wants!
My own cat clowder includes a sphynx and a lykoi. I am familiar with clipping nails, cleaning ears, and even giving baths! Even though my cats are short haired, I’m happy to brush your cat while you’re away. I can also ensure he receives his medications or take care of any other special needs he might have. If you have plants that need watering or mail that needs to be picked up, I can do that too!
A typical visit will include making sure your cat is fed, watered, and that their litter box is clean. I’ll then take care of any special needs. The rest of the time will be spent with your cat. I can send you photos and updates too — as often as you’d like!
I care about community and have been looking for ways to make a meaningful impact with people and pets. My goal is to inspire trust, serving as a cat sitter you can call on as a neighbor and friend to care for your precious family members.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting since I was in elementary school! Growing up without a cat, it was the only opportunity to spend time with my favorite animal. Friends, neighbors, even teachers, continued to offer me sitting opportunities over the years. Most recently, I sat for a friend while she was in Japan for three weeks, which inspired me to join Meowtel!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have three cats: Kitty (a sphynx with tortietude), Win (a snuggly, shy lykoi), and Freya (an orange agent of chaos). I love that each one has her/his own personality.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
My advice is to trust your gut. My regular cat sitter planned a vacation for the same week as mine. I ended up hiring a sitter I wasn’t quite sure about, but who came highly recommended. I returned home from vacation with Covid — and without my luggage — only to be greeted by two sick cats. I learned that stress can physically impact a cat just like a human, in this case, causing upper respiratory infections. I was right about the sitter. She brought an energy that didn’t quite align with mine — and the cats could tell!

Natasha was a LIFE SAVER. After my original cat sitter plans unfortunately fell through, I was able to swiftly book Natasha from across the country (responds super fast, something I definitely needed given the circumstances), and feel at ease after communicating my cats’ needs with her right away. I felt like she treated my cats as if they were her own, such as paying attention to small details about their health and food/water station among many other things to ensure their comfort while I was away. The most important thing for me was she was very patient with my girl cat who takes time to warm up to others and doesn’t like being around new people. Natasha seemed very intuitive with them which left me worry free during my trip away. 10/10 would recommend!

Natasha took such great care of my very picky and routine oriented senior cat! She provided great feeding, play and treat time and cuddle time for him. it can be hard to find people that our cat trusts to cuddle with so speaks very highly that Natasha was able to get some cuddle time in on day one. I would highly recommend her and will definitely be reaching out in the future for our sitting needs.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Minneapolis cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Natasha was just great with our two cats! She sent really cute photos every day we were gone to let us know what they were up to. The litter box was cleaned every day and she picked up our mail for us. It was so nice not to have to worry about them while we were gone. We will definitely use her again when we go on our next trip!
