I currently work as a veterinary receptionist at a cat only clinic & have 10+ years experience in pet boarding (manager on duty for my shifts) & the veterinary field working at a few clinics. I am experienced at giving oral medications (liquid & pill), topicals/ointments (eye, ear, skin), injectables like insulin & subcutaneous fluids, & inhalers, to both happy & grumpy cats.
I always let a cat come to me when first meeting them, and make sure they are comfortable with me before proceeding & I read their body language to determine what they do & don't like (pets, belly rubs, etc).
I am willing to travel around the Twin Cities & it's suburbs to provide my sitting services.
Mornings & evenings work best for me due to most of my work hours being 8a-6p, but on my days off I can be available in the afternoons as needed. I will communicate with you when I plan to be at you home for each shift during your reservation & will message you when I arrive so that you have a worry free sitting experience. I am very open to working with you to make sure your cat's needs are met!
For new clients I request a 5 day notice to allow time to schedule the meet & greet, but please feel free to message me if you have urgent sitting needs & I will try to accommodate! For repeat clients I only request a 2 day notice to allow for time to pick up a key if needed.
Outside of cat sitting, I enjoy hiking, going to concerts, reading, elaborate Halloween & Christmas decorating, movie nights with friends, Lush bath bombs, and traveling when I can.
With COVID still occasionally around, I am willing to wear a mask & use hand sanitizer or whatever makes you most comfortable. I am vaccinated & boosted.

Jessica was a great cat sitter! She came precisely at the agreed upon times and left very thorough messages about how all 3 of my cats were doing. I also received lots of pictures and videos. She did an excellent job taking care of my special needs cat, and gave all 3 individualized love and attention. She was also able to get my super shy cat rubbing up to her like she was his new best friend, and he typically does not warm up to new people so quickly!

Jessica did a great job taking care of my cats again. She left very detailed notes and lots of pics and videos. I can tell from the videos that my cats enjoy getting attention from her. One of my cats had some tummy troubles while I was gone and not only did she clean up his vomit, she gave me a heads up on which blankets I'd want to wash when I got home, which I really appreciated.

This is our third or fourth time asking Jessica to care for our kitties, including a new girl who is a little ball of stress (like her mom). Jessica charmed everyone again, and successfully pilled stressball both times said stressball needed her meds. Cats are calm, content, well exercised, medicated, and sad to see us return. They will be pleased when Jessica returns (and, if we have our druthers, she will return)!

I am so glad I chose Jessica as my cat-sitter while I went away on an international trip. She gave me peace of mind while I was away by leaving detailed updates, sending tons of pictures and sweet videos. It was evident by Jessica’s care that she loves cats! Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Minneapolis cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

We had another outstanding experience with Jessica caring for our senior cat, Donut, while we were on a family vacation. This was our third time booking with Jessica and she is wonderful to work with! She is an excellent communicator and caregiver. Jessica sent very detailed updates, and adorable pics and videos of Donut that our whole family looked forward to receiving. Jessica followed all instructions exactly plus went above and beyond. She brought in mail and packages, and updated us on the snowy weather and roads in our neighborhood. Donut was so happy and content in all of her videos and did just great while we were gone. Donut loved having Jessica care for her and it made our whole vacation better! We will definitely book with Jessica again the next time we travel!

Jessica was an outstanding cat sitter for our cat Donut when we were on a recent vacation. Donut absolutely loved Jessica! in a word, spectacular! I’m almost hesitant to rate her, because she will deservedly become a popular cat sitter (and no longer be just “ours”), but it wouldn’t be fair to all the other cats if I didn’t sing her praises to the skies! I suspect our cats are probably bummed that we have returned and that they won’t be getting visits from Jessica today, but they will be happy to learn that she will be our permanent cat sitter in the future!
