Every new reservation comes with a complimentary Meet & Greet where we can introduce ourselves & go over specific care instructions for your fur-kids. I am a very detail-oriented individual & am more than happy to follow any written instructions provided, I will always ask for clarification if I don’t understand something being requested. I’m also happy to bring in the mail, water the plants (if applicable & instructions are provided), & take the trash out with me at the end of my stay... Hello Meowtel Kitty Purrrents! My name is Keyne (pronounced Key-Inn) & my purrrsonal passion is caring for cats. I am a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) working in the field at a mixed animal practice & previously managed a feline-only boarding facility for 7 years until COVID caused them to shut down. I strive to give excellent care to all kitties no matter the breed, health condition, or temperament. I am compassionate & conscientious; booking with me you can rest easy knowing your beloved fur-kids are receiving meowvelous care while you're away!
Every new reservation comes with a complimentary Meet & Greet where we can introduce ourselves & go over specific care instructions for your fur-kids. I’m also happy to bring in the mail, water the plants (if applicable & instructions are provided), & take the trash out with me at the end of my stay.
Booking with me through Meowtel allows you to use any major credit card for payment & they even have a tipping platform set up meow too! Drop-in visits will include not only basic care such as feeding, litter box care, & medication administration (if applicable) but also play/snuggle time as well as regular picture updates sent to your Meowtel Inbox. Overnight stays include all of the same features except I will be sleeping at your place with your kitties instead of just popping in which will not only give your kitties the benefit of extra company but you the peace of mind in knowing your purrrsonal property is being watched as well.

*I have temporarily moved to St. Cloud but anticipate returning to the cities in the next year or so, I am still happy to provide overnight care or single drop-ins but can not offer twice daily drop-in visits at this time.*

Keyne was great! She was patient with our diabetic kitty when he wasn’t super cooperative. She tested his blood sugar, sent pictures of both cats and kept me up-to-date on how it was going.

Keyne was incredible! She was the purrfect sitter to watch my fur babies while I was away on a long weekend trip and I felt completely at ease, even after our initial visit. Her background work in veterinary offices, specialization in cats, and owning 4 cats of her own, made me feel confident that she would take great care (probably even better care than me alone!) of my babies while I was gone. Not only did she keep them company and give them lots of love, she left a very thorough note upon my return on how they did, including detailed recommendations on how to deter my younger kitten from fighting and chasing my older cat. She is the most competent and knowledgeable sitter I have worked with and I will definitely contact her the next time I need a cat sitter! I would recommend her overy any other sitter and Meowtel was very helpful in allowing us to communicate with ease during my trip.

Keyne was WONDERFUL! My recently diagnosed diabetic cat was very comfortable with her and well-taken care of. She gave me tips on how to measure 1/2 unit on my syringes (invaluable as the vet upped his dose while she was taking care of him). He was clean and content, and the house was in better shape than when I left. I will request Keyne again as needed and highly recommend her.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Minneapolis cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Cannot recommend Keyne enough - she is the best cat sitter I could have asked for and goes above and beyond during daytime and overnight stays. She leaves my apartment cleaner than I left it and even goes out of her way to provide me with tips and tricks for adjusting my cat to my newest kitten. I will only book her going forward (unless she's unavailable) and would highly recommend anyone in need of a daytime or overnight sitter to book Keyne!!

Keyne is a fantastic cat sitter; the best person to leave my babies with, when we are gone. She updated us every day and sent us great pictures. For family reasons we did not end up traveling. However we communicated with Keyne every day and when we met the first time she was great. I cannot wait to leave my two beloved cats with her on Dec 28. We are lucky that Keyne lives near us!
