She is a sassy girl who loves playing for half the day and napping for the other half (some favorites are springs, lasers, and fishing poles)... My rescue, Ginger, has had my whole heart for the past 4.5 years. She’s very food motivated, so I have some experience with diet routines, reward incentives, and coming up with new stimulating play ideas to keep boredom at bay.
I have experience with both lovey and spicy cats, no judgement here. I also have been through some cat medical eras and can administer ointments, eye/ear drops, pills, and liquid meds. As well as helping them navigate with the cone of shame after procedures.
I can’t wait to meet your furry feline friend and help them feel at home until you get back! I know I feel much more at peace on trips when I have someone I can rely on taking care of my sweet girl.
Communication is key for me, so having two-way expectations helps me to give the best care possible. I hope you like getting pictures and updates of your perfect pet, that’s my favorite part!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
When working with a new cat parent, my first step is just getting to know their cat, them, and routines. I need to know what “normal” is so I can observe what to do and what not to do to meet their specific needs. Each cat is different and has different expectations for human interactions so I love hearing about what they like and don’t like from the person who knows them best! No detail is too small!! Tell me about the one person in the neighborhood they didn’t get along with, their favorite way to get a treat, their tell for being upset. The more I know at the beginning, the smoother transition I’ll be able to have with caring for your sweet pet.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
For the cat’s safety, I make sure to quickly use doors with my foot as a blocker (I have an escape artist myself at home). This ensures not too much attention is on the door or exits. Additionally, making sure extra food is stored back away and out of reach to avoid accidental over feeding. Other things help too such as keeping windows shut, putting toys away that need supervision, adjusting pet cameras for best views, and more. For the home’s safety, I do quick scans to make sure everything looks normal. I can leave lights on if requested to make it look like someone is home, bring in mail, and ensure alarm is set when I leave if desired. Let me know what you feel most comfortable with!

I’m usually local during the holidays and can do check ins while you’re out of town! These visits might be a little extra, but so worth it to make sure you can relax and enjoy the holidays with your loved ones across the world. Leave the pet routines, cuddles, and playtime to me!

Stephanie is great! This was my 2nd time booking Stephanie via the Meowtel App (1st: Sept 2025/2nd: May 2026). Everything was perfect. Stephanie does a great job communicating before & during visits. My cat was once again at ease with her: followed her around during visits, did belly flops for tummy rubs and made air-biscuits during her visits. Clearly he was happy to see her! Stephanie also gave my cat his oral medication every day. The kitchen feeding area was spotless and she made sure all trash was properly disposed. The Meowtel reservation process was easy & simple. Stephanie was wonderful! This was the first time leaving our cats with Stephanie. I was a little apprehensive because one of our two cats suffered a kidney injury recently and we'd been keeping a close eye on him. She was a very conscientious and caring sitter. She followed my somewhat complicated instructions to a "T". I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her and I definitely plan to look for her when we travel again.

Stephanie was amazing! She was so attentive during our initial visit, diligently making written notes in her phone of everything I was pointing out about how to care for my cat. Her communication before & during the visits was excellent. My cat seemed very at ease with her (I could tell from the pictures & his eating habits), my cat ate/drank well & got some playtime too! He followed her around the house & wanted to be beside her during all visits. Upon my arrival home, my cat was happy & relaxed, just he always is. I can tell he felt at ease with Stephanie. Very highly recommend Stephanie & will request her again! I feel completely comfortable trusting my beloved fur baby with her. I had no anxiety about my cat’s health & welfare during my absence. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Columbus cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

The individual who has sat for our kitties for many years was unavailable so I booked Stephanie and she was great! She promptly arrived for the meet & greet and made sure she had all the information needed. During the reservation the kitties warmed up to her very quickly and she did everything that was requested and more. She provided updates and pictures after every visit.
