She was punctual, detail oriented and thorough when coming to meet the cats. I felt very comfortable leaving the cats in her care. She sent great pictures and updates on the cats everyday, which really helped ease my mind when traveling. She was patient with my shy kitties and they completely opened with her and were super happy even while we were gone. My cats like to play hide and seek with treats, and I mentioned it in passing but didn’t include it in their routine. However, she went above and beyond to do that activity with them, which really shows how much she cares about the cats she’s taking care of. I also have a lizard (who I didn’t include in the pet sitting) but she still sent me picture updates of him as well. She sent daily updates on what she did for my kitty and tons of pictures. She followed all my instructions and was very responsive to my texts. The icing on the cake for me was that she spent time trying to engage with my kitty daily. He is shy and nervous around new people and he was usually under the bed, hiding, at the beginning of every visit with her. Joella showed me she truly cared about him because she would sit right next to the bed and gave him treats to engage with him daily. Towards the end of her visits, he would almost always come out and play with her or go eat his food.
