The health and safety of our sitters, clients, and kitties remain a top priority. While COVID-19 is no longer an active emergency, we encourage all sitters and clients to practice general health precautions to ensure safe and stress-free reservations.


Best Practices for a Smooth and Safe Cat-Sitting Experience:


  1. Meet & Greets: Clients and sitters can choose to conduct Meet & Greets in person or virtually based on their comfort level and preferences.
  2. Health Considerations: If you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of any contagious illness (COVID-19, flu, etc.), please notify your client immediately and contact Meowtel so we can assist in arranging backup care if necessary.
  3. Safety Preferences: We recommend that both sitters and clients respect any special requests regarding mask-wearing, social distancing, or other safety measures during the Meet & Greet. However, sitters are not required to wear a face mask while completing visits in the client’s home, regardless of vaccination status.
  4. Communication is Key: Before confirming a booking, we encourage sitters and clients to discuss any health-related concerns or expectations to ensure a smooth and comfortable reservation.
