Meowtel sitters do not have to pay to be covered by our insurance; this benefit is included for every reservation booked and paid for on Meowtel at a rate of $20 or above per visit, inclusive of sitter discounts and holiday surcharges.

Yes! You can report an incident that qualifies for an insurance claim by calling us at 1-844-MEOWTEL or sending an email to [email protected]. For information on our insurance terms, please click here


To be considered, the incident needs to be reported during the reservation or within 72 hours of the reservation's completion.

When a Meowtel Insurance claim is made, sitters may be required to cover the deductible costs depending on the circumstances of the claim. Actions are taken on a case by case basis but could result in the suspension or permanent deactivation of your account. Meowtel will work closely with you to decide our course of action. Meowtel provides liability insurance for all reservations that qualify for The Meowtel Promise. To qualify, reservations must be booked and paid for on Meowtel at a rate of $20 or above per visit, inclusive of sitter discounts and holiday surcharges.
