I have been pet-sitting my entire life. I have worked mostly with cats and dogs (my current partner has a sweet rescue pup), but also with horses (including volunteering with rescue horses), fish, and guinea pigs... Hello! I'm an experienced cat-sitter in Boulder area. I grew up with four cats - Baby, Rocky, Billy, and Zipper. I was responsible for feeding them, playing with them, cleaning the litter boxes 1-2x daily, and ensuring they were healthy and well cared-for. I absolutely adored them, and even though I haven't been settled enough in my adult life to adopt a kitty of my own, I miss having cats in my life and would love to provide excellent cat care!
I have been pet-sitting my entire life. I have worked mostly with cats and dogs (my current partner has a sweet rescue pup), but also with horses (including volunteering with rescue horses), fish, and guinea pigs. My biggest strength is being able to meet animals where they're at; if they're shy or nervous, I'm very patient and respectful of that. If they're energetic and playful, I can match that too! I always make sure that pets have a safe environment to play in (both for themselves and your belongings).
AVAILABILITY:
I work as a full-time remote consultant with a very flexible schedule. I have a lot of availability during the day for short visits, and I can be present for longer visits on evenings and weekends. I currently service the Boulder area, and other surrounding neighborhoods upon request.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I've been cat sitting (and generally pet sitting) on and off for over 15 years! I have experience coming to homes or apartments. My first priority is generally engaging with the pet; I don't just show up and sit on my phone! I understand how important it is to just be present and engaged with your pet. I clean litter boxes thoroughly and clean the surrounding area, feed pets according to specific instructions, provide any oral medications as needed, and play if they want to. I'm patient and make sure I meet every pet where they're at.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I don't currently have a cat, but my partner and I are looking to adopt soon! I grew up with four cats, all rescues: Baby, Rocky, Billy, and Zipper. (Billy and Zipper were adopted as brothers!)
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Growing up, I had cats that would try and slip out of the door when you walked in, so I'm very careful to make sure indoor cats stay inside! I never leave plants, food, or small choking hazards that the cat is not used to anywhere accessible to them. The space should be clean, especially litter box and food/water bowls, and I always keep play spaces clear of fragile items or other hazards.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am often available during most holiday weekends (except Christmas)! I may have Thanksgiving availability, depending on where I am.
What is your favorite cat toy?
Whatever the cat's favorite toy is! Nothing is better than a cat who is psyched on their favorite toy.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Patience! I worked with rescue horses growing up, and all my pets have been rescues. My partner's dog is a very timid, shy rescue dog and it took him two weeks before I could pet him, but it was so worth the wait. Now we're best friends! Given my experience with rescues, I know how to show non-threatening body language and a calm demeanor. I let the cat come to me. (And food bribery never hurts, with the owner's permission of course!)

If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- May 22-28: Memorial Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Boulder cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
