My 2 babies both have medical conditions that require special food, eye drops, eye ointments and pilling. I have experience with FLV positive cats... Hi! I have had cats my whole life and am happiest when surrounded by animals! I currently have 2 perfect angels, Willow & Hobbes! I understand how difficult it can be to leave your babies, and am committed to taking care of yours! Also, as a pet owner myself, I know how amazing it is to get photos when you're away!

I work in the film industry-- film schedules can make my schedule very tight, or EXTREMELY flexible--please feel free to inquire about any dates..I may be able to accommodate and add days into my schedule ! When I am not working (or with my kitties), I love trivia, going to concerts and looking for the best thrift stores!
I am fully vaccinated and happy to wear a mask if that is preferred.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting for as long as I can remember! I grew up pet sitting for family, friends and neighbors! There has never been a time that I can remember that I wasn't involved in taking care of pets :)
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love getting to know each pets personality!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have had cats my whole life! Right now I have a perfect 9 year old named Willow who is getting used to her rambunctious 10 week old brother Rufus who showed up on a doorstep one cold night!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I am always extra careful when coming in/out of doors. I never let any cats outside/on a balcony while I'm watching them. I also always like to make sure I know where your kitty is before I leave! I know how stressful it can be worrying about your pets while away!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I like to give them their space and let them come to me on their own terms! I will always make sure to talk to them and let them come say hi if they are feeling up to it! I also like to try to offer a toy to see if that will help them come out of their shell!

I was so happy Kate was able to take care of my cats when I had a last-minute trip pop up! She saw that all three got plenty of attention, playtime and treats. She took special care with my oldest who needed a daily pill and quiet mealtime away from the other two, keeping me informed on her eating habits and demeanor. She replied quickly to my messages and provided lots of pics, letting me know each cat was happy and cared for—and I appreciated her flexibility to visit earlier one day when the automatic litter box experienced an issue. She took care of it right away and I’m sure my girls were happy with an earlier than usual playtime and treats! :)

I absolutely loved having Kate watch my cats. She handled my cat’s medication and all the normal upkeep perfectly. She had awesome little reports after each visit with great pictures, even tracking down the cats who were less than thrilled she was there for a picture of them in their hiding place. Great experience and would highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Kate; she did a great job! We had never used a service before, only friends and family, so we were a little nervous, but Kate was wonderful! Our kitties loved her and even started greeting her at the door during the visits. We got great, detailed notes each visits and lots of fun photos (some even frame worthy!). I really think our kitties will miss her daily visits! We’ll definitely reach out to Kate in the future.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Atlanta cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
