My priority is to build a long term relationship with my clients and their pets, where ... Understanding and prioritizing your cat's boundaries and preferences is my main goal as their sitter. I believe gaining a cat's trust takes time and patience, and it is so gratifying to get there!
My priority is to build a long term relationship with my clients and their pets, where they can trust that I will always take the time to learn the ins and outs of their pet's care.
I currently cat sit for a number of clients in Buckhead and Midtown. Along with this experience, I bring a year of experience volunteering in Atlanta Humane Society's cat care and adoption.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Each cat is so unique and I love getting to know their quirks and personalities. I see the most interesting and endearing aspects of a cat's personality the more I spend time with them.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I grew up with cats in my childhood, and fostered a number of kittens. I currently have a 4 year old girl who I absolutely adore. She makes my life so much more fulfilling and meaningful!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I like to give cats lots of time and space to come to me first. I respect their boundaries and try to establish that I am a safe human for them to be around, by moving slowly and speaking to them gently. When they are ready, I am always eager to get to know them :)

Nisha took great care of my cat, Binx, while I was away at Christmas for a whole week. I had requested updates at each visit for food and litter box and she made sure to provide food photos that made me feel at ease. At our meet and greet I told Nisha that my cat was very energetic and liked to play but was sometimes difficult to play with. She got to know Binx and how he likes to play so that he got the exact play time I requested. Nisha also made sure to update me each time she was about to head over and leave, which I appreciated. I can always tell when I return from a trip if my cat has been properly cared for, and I can confidently say Nisha provides diligent, thoughtful care.

If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Atlanta cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
