I have been a cat sitter for over 3 years. I have experience with multi-cat households and senior cats. I am comfortable administering medication.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Cats are awesome, curious, funny creatures. I enjoy getting to know each of their personalities and preferences. The companionship is an added bonus!

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My favorite reservation was for two female ragdolls. They have a ton of energy and loved to play fetch with me.

Mack looked after my pack of three for ten days while I visited family in Arizona. Although one of the cats didn’t come out of hiding at first (which is typical of her), all three were quickly won over. Mack provided daily updates and photos of my girls, who looked totally at ease. She also kept me updated on my oldest (and pickiest) girl’s food consumption while making sure she got both of her medications, one mixed into her food and the other given with a pill shooter, so I knew what she ate, how much, and which specific flavors she liked, which even helped me decide what food to buy next. I came back to three happy cats who had clearly spent a great ten days with their newest sitter buddy. Knowing my girls were in such good hands gave me real peace of mind while I was away. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Mack again.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
