Hi, I’m Daisy!
I moved to Atlanta around 4 years ago and am a PhD student at Emory! I’ve always grown up around animals, whether it was my family’s or petsitting cats and dogs for friends. I've also been fostering cats with the Atlanta Humane Society for about 4 years now and have recently adopted 2 kittens of my own!!

I'm very comfortable caring for cats with a variety of personalities, from playful and social to more shy or timid cats. I always try to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away.

I prioritize the safety, trust, and well-being of every furry friend under my care. Communication is also super important to me - it’s important to me always let people know what’s going on!

Learn More About Daisy

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been cat sitting professionally for 3 years now!! I am experienced with dropping in on cats with all kinds of personalities and giving medication as well.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I do!! I have two kittens named Jack and Maple, and they’re amazing! They’re big cuddle bugs but also love playtime.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I think patience is key - I like to sit on the floor and just exist in the same space as them and get them used to my presence over time! I let things go at their pace and have them let me know if they’d like to be approached or to be left alone.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.

Atlanta cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!
