Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have two cat children of my own - Selene & Percy 🐈‍⬛️ Selene is a 5 year old Tuxie we've had for 3 years now, and 2-year-old Percy has just joined us in the last few months! Percy is a certified wild man with endless energy, and Selene is a sweet and sassy little girl who prefers a good cuddle :)

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes! I am available during most major US holidays, with the only exception being New Year's Eve/Day. (As a New Year's baby, I take this holiday to celebrate both my birthday and a great new year 🎊)

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I have lots of experience with timid, shy, and anxious cats! The cat I'm currently the most bonded with is extremely shy, and we are working on getting her to get more comfortable with her new sibling. I also had a cat for 16 years who had anxiety, and am very familiar with the needs of these more reserved babies. I find the best approach is to move slowly with them, keeping quiet and still until they are comfortable. No sudden movements or loud noises, just soft, soothing words and a hand ready to pet them if they initiate. If they get anxious while being pet, maybe hissing or swatting from any fear or overstimulation, I just back off, hold my hands in front of me to show I mean no harm, and then start over with quiet words of encouragement and hands to sniff.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
