I have been cat sitting for friends and family for over 20 years and fostering for 10. People who know me trust me with their cats because they know I have a strong bond with my own cats, I respect their nature, I understand signs and symptoms of health and behavioral issues, and I’m able to medicate and care for cats with special needs.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I enjoy knowing that I am the bright spot in their day so I want to make that time extra special.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Try various sitters, you will know when you’ve met the one! I’ve had the same cat sitter for over ten years and that time means a lot to me. I know they know my cats and their specific behaviors (so they know when something’s off). They care for my cats like family and that is worth way more than I pay them for. It’s not just about being there but understanding and loving my babies.

Shana is so loved by bucket. she sent so many pictures during my time away and made me feel so safe with her coming to love on him. she is great for Grant Park/Reynoldnstown/CabbageTown/ and could come by and check on him quick if she needed to. she even came to do a pre-vacation visit to introduce herself and bucket was sitting beside her in seconds. she has her own cats and getting to hear her talk about them and how much she loves them made me feel absolutely comfortable.

Shana is a great lover of cats! She cares deeply about them and their well being. She would always make sure the cat/kittens are well taken care of, not forget about and always make sure she had all the information about what they needed. She is very in tune and is able to see if a cat is acting strangely, as well as handle them quietly and respectfully. Giving them extra time for pets and cuddles or play if they so enjoyed that.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
