Hi, I’m Savannah!

I live in Cabbagetown, Atlanta. I’ve had cats my whole life, and right now I have one who’s been with me for 8 years.Along the way, I’ve worked with a behaviorist for my own cat’s needs, and I’ve also helped socialize and rehome a few feral cats (and the occasional critter that needed a safe place!).

My cat Puddles was found by my brother at just 6 weeks old on a freezing, rainy day, sitting in an actual puddle (hence her name!).... Hi, I’m Savannah!

She’s vocal, opinionated, runs the whole house, and loves to curl up next to you… as long as you don’t smother her or sneeze.

As a sitter, I’m patient, gentle, and very thorough.Whether your cat is shy, spicy, clingy, or independent, I’ll make sure they feel safe, understood, and well cared for while you’re away!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat sitting for friends and family for as long as i can remember as well as watching their other pets.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

The different personalities that cats carry and knowing they’re well taken care of while their parents are out of town.It has always been hard for me to trust others with my cat because she comes with extra steps for care. It really means a lot to find someone who doesn’t see her as a hastle and i would love to be that person for someone else.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have one 8 year old cat named Puddles. She was found by my brother at his Marietta college campus on a cold and rainy day. She was 6 weeks old and not ready for a college degree yet. A, ”can i please watch her while you go out of town?” Turned into my partner in crime.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Reach out to your sitter and set up a meet and greet so their visits with your pet can go smooth and nothing is missed.

What is your favorite cat toy?

Puddles likes the string on a stick and anything stuffed with catnip! She uses puzzles and foraging toys to eat her dry food.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I speak very softly and make little noise. Typically sitting on the floor with them and waiting for them to approach. I can also use their favorite toy to entice them to warm up.

Savannah was great! She gave the cats so much love and attention! My shy boy took to her pretty quickly as well! She sent updates regularly, was on time with medications and food, and I could tell she really cared about my babies. My house was clean when I came home and all the kitties were happy and not starved for attention. I would definitely recommend Savannah as a sitter (and I am a sitter, so I know what to look for). ❤️

Savannah was awesome!! She sent us lots of pictures to make sure our boy had adequate play/pet time. She even notified us that our heat didn’t kick on and the house was 52 degrees - saving our cat from some chilly nights! I’d refer her to anybody.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
