What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I enjoy getting to know each cat’s unique personalities and spending time with them! It brings me so much joy to help each kitty feel comfortable and happy, and I strive to love and care for each kitty like my own! And that’s a pretty high bar because my cat means everything to me and I love him more than life itself! I give above and beyond care to cats— I have a huge heart for cats, and I really enjoy getting to bond with cats of all kinds of purrsonalities!!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes, I have a cat named Linus. I adopted him in 2022 and he was rescued from a van filled with 47 cats. Linus is my entire world and I treat him like the prince he is! Linus is my emotional support cat and he does an amazing job at helping me and comforting me. I love Linus with all my heart and he means the world to me! Linus is my best friend and I love taking him on stroller rides, playing with him, and snuggling with him!

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I scan the environment for any hazards or safety concerns. It is my top priority to ensure the safety and security of the cats and the home when cat sitting. Even with my own cat, I am always ensuring he stays safe and that there are no items or objects that would hurt him or cause harm.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes! I am typically available during holidays to watch your cat! I am happy to watch your fur baby for you and to help you have peace of mind and be at ease that your cat will be well cared for and loved while you’re enjoying your holiday.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I respect and give them the space they need, yet have a gentle and warm approach to help the cat feel comfortable and safe, and let the cat approach me at their own pace and when they are ready to. I understand some cats may hide, especially if they are shy or less affectionate or anxious with strangers, and I let your cat take the lead with their comfort level! If your cat prefers to keep a distance, that’s okay! I will always keep a gentle and calm approach, and let your cat come to when if and when they’re ready, but I won’t ever force a cat to be around me. Just let me know your cat’s common hiding spots and I’ll make sure your cat is safe and okay, as well as gently invite your cat to sniff my hand if they are comfortable and ready.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
