Cats are my thing, I find them to be the most beautiful, graceful, entertaining and lovable pets we could ever make part of our family. I have been a cat mom in the 70 years since. My baby girl, Piper, is my constant companion and my best ever roommate.

I prefer to sit in Worthington, Westerville (only taking new clients west of Hoover Dam), Polaris area, Dublin (east of 270S) and Lewis Center.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have had cats most of my life. I have been cat sitting for Meowtel for four years. It’s a great way for me to earn extra income.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

Over the Christmas holidays I had an assignment that included 3 cats and the must adorable little rabbit you’ve ever seen.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

As I’ve said, I have had cats most of my life. Currently I have 1 cat who is 14 years old. Her name is Piper and we are great roommates. She has taught me routines to follow and if not followed I know about it.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Take a look at the number of years they have been with Meowtel and if they have a five star rating. See how many repeat customers they have. Read the reviews.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes, I am. All of my activities around the holidays are local and I can cat sit around them. You can enjoy your holidays and not worry about your furbabies.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I try to introduce myself to them, even if I can’t see them. I let them make the first move toward me. Sometimes shaking a bag of treats will bring them out.

Sandra did a great job. My Kokomo is something of a scaredy cat. She's not fond of strangers. Yet Sandra sent me a photo of her every day (eating, sleeping, peeking around corners). That was great reassurance for us that she was well kept while we were far away. She respected our house as well as our cat. Thank you..

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
