My angel baby Astro was diagnosed with Diabetes in 2022 and I administered insulin to him every 12 hours at home until he had a repeat bout with Ketoacidosis and passed in March of 2023. I miss him dearly and am so grateful for the 10 years we had together, and am grateful for the experience I gained in caring for him during the last year of his life with diabetes... My love for cats began at a very early age and has grown exponentially over the course of my life. I currently have two little furballs, Bitty and Binx, who have been in my life 8 and 2 years and they truly are my world. You could say they are polar opposites, Bitty being the talkative and cuddly ragdoll and Binx being the rambunctious independent type. I love their diversity and how they show affection to one another even with their own little unique love languages!

I consider myself very observant and caring towards my kitties and I pay close attention to how they're feeling and any abnormalities in their behavior or physical appearance.
Any time I visit a friend or family member's house with cats, I yearn to make them feel safe and cozy in my presence and allow them to approach me. I understand that it can take some kitties time to warm up, while others are ready to jump right in and be affectionate!
Outside of kitty time I love to read, dance, cook, sing, paint, and go walking at local parks. I am an early bird and love to get a bright and productive start to my days so I can end them feeling accomplished and relaxed.
The comfort and joy I've experienced in all my years of being a cat mama have enriched my life. Spending quality time with cats is so fulfilling and therapeutic, and I aim to bring the same love and reassurance into their lives as well!
My current scheduling restrictions is my 9-5 Monday-Friday work schedule, but I am usually free on weekends and evenings!
I am happy to pet sit for fur babies just about anywhere in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and am fully vaccinated and willing to wear a mask during my visits if preferred!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been kitty sitting for about 2 years now and have made many new furry friends. I am so very passionate about being able to connect and spend time with the kitties I sit for!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
The connections I form with the cats, and building that relationship where they feel comfortable in my presence!
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
My favorite cat sitting reservation is arriving to a sweet orange girl named Greta who immediately comes running to me and I drop to the floor to shower her in pets! She follows me around while I restock and clean up her stations purring up a storm, and when she finishes her crunchies we resume the pet-athon and just enjoy the moment together!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 2 kitties now, Bitty and Binx and they are absolute angels. They were at war with one another over the first month of meeting eachother but now they cuddle and clean eachother and play all day!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Make sure to have your supplies well stocked, give thorough info on entry/exit and any unique preferences/kitty personality quirks!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
A meet and greet when a general list of info to get started on the right foot! Enjoy getting to know eachother and the fur babies so they are familiar with me upon our first visit together.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Be sure to know where the carriers are in case of emergency, and be sure to have accurate vet info. Double triple check all locks, and be observant and mindful of anything unusual during each visit.

Most holidays I am available!
What is your favorite cat toy?
Those cute little treat dispensers that they can paw at and knock the treats out!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Patience! Allow them to approach and warm up to me, speak sweetly to them, do not startle them with sudden movements or loud noises, be respectful of their bubble!

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Dallas cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Courtney is the best cat sitter we've had in over 30 years of owning cats. She simply has a way with cats. Before we've come home to poop and throw up on rugs etc. But Courtney made our cat, Greta, feel so secure -- there were no suprises. In addition Greta's feeding area was immaculate. Courtney kept us up with Greta daily via e-mails and photos. We are so happy with her service and getting on her calendar for future visits. Courtney is simplay the best. Five stars isn't enough.
