What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love getting to know each cat’s personality and being a source of comfort for them when their favorite person or people are unavailable. It’s incredibly rewarding to build trust with a formerly-fearful cat.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have Peach, a 5 or 6 year old short hair tabby, and Moose, a 1 year old longhair tabby. Both are Dallas Animal Services alumns :)

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

My preference is to meet the parent and cat prior to their departure to build trust and ensure comfort for everyone involved. Any details that can help me take the best care of your pet are appreciated, including medication schedule, favorite toys, and things to know about accessing the location. A short walkthrough is also appreciated to make sure I know where everything is and possible hiding places your pet might use if they become stressed.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
