Hi, I’m Romney and I’ve been a cat parent nearly my whole life. I feel blessed to have four kitty companions - two of whom are seniors! I know how valuable it is to have the right person in place to watch my cats when I have to be away, and it’s my goal to provide an excellent experience for my Customers and my Cat-stomers alike. Whether your cats would prefer multiple visits each day or overnight companionship while you’re on your trip, I’m happy to be of service! Please don’t fret if you have more than one set of paws that needs attention during your trip! I recommend a 20-45 minute visit for 1-2 cats and a 45-60 minute visit for 3 or more cats, but I ultimately trust your judgment! Book the appropriate amount of time under one kitty’s name, and we can go over the needs for all your cats during the meet and greet. I’m well-versed in all components of cat care including unique mealtime routines, play time, litter box maintenance and cleaning and medication administration. I know it can take some time for a kitty to warm up to a stranger, so I’m happy to meet your little guy or gal where they’re at and help them feel as comfortable as possible until your return...

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love getting to see cats in their preferred place where their purr-sonalities can really shine! Getting to share the day with a kitty cat is always such a privilege, and it's extra gratifying when you've earned their trust and they warm up to you.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have four cats of my own: Peanut, Bismark, Marmey and Toby. I have had Marmey for over ten years - since he was about a year old, but my oldest cat is Toby - he's estimated to be between 18-23 years old! I love my little senior guys - they're super sweet and love snuggles. My younger two are Peanut and Bismark - they're five and four, respectively. They are absolutely hilarous together and like to play multiple times a day. My favorite thing is to see them teach each other little mannerisms and habits. All of my cats are such individuals and I love that they let me hang out with them.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

My goal is to disrupt your cats' routines as little as possible. In order to do so, I'll schedule a meet and greet with you so you can show me their routines and we can become a little more familiar with each other. I never try to force my way into a cat's personal space. I'll bend down to where they are and let them come to me if they're interested. I love to learn more about how you interact with them and be respectful of how they like to run their ship!

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
