What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat sitting for 13 years! I have many repeat clients I have been with for a long time but I also love meeting new clients and cats.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Caring for cats is something that I not only enjoy, but it comes naturally. My genuine love and care for cats truly shines when I can provide it for every cat that I can.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My favorite reservation is a routine client of mine. I noticed that Mr. Maxwell likes warm towels more than anything. So for each visit, I will warm up some towels for him and wrap him up as he purrs away.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have 3 cats. Paisley is 14, Cuddles is 13, and Haru is 5. I’ve owned 3 other cats that have passed away when it was their time: Teddy, Prince and Princess. ♡

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

My number one thing is to find a cat sitter that truly understands cats. Many people love cats and own cats but finding a sitter that is in tune with cats and has that intuition with them is hard to find. Understanding cats’ behavior is not only important but crucial when you’re away. If your cat is uncomfortable or shows any other changes that indicate a medical issue - not just a cat lover can notice that, only someone who has that cat intuition and experience can.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I like to meet the cat parent(s) as well as their cat(s) to get to know both the owner and fur baby before the sitting. It’s important that I not only know the care they need and where their items are but I like to know quirks, medical issues, habits, emergency details, etc.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

This is something I take very seriously. I make sure everything I use is back in its exact place, lock all doors, make sure all cabinets are closed, etc. If your cat is not sociable, I will still always make sure I see the cat during my visit to ensure that they are ok.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yep! I provide care 365 days a year regardless of the Holiday or occasion.

What is your favorite cat toy?

I love anything interactive. It is not only great for bonding but it provides exercise and mental stimulation.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

My other specialty that my clients have praised me for. Your cat’s comfort is #1 most important to me. I will never push the cat’s boundaries and I will take my time to get to know them and let them get to know me. Timid and anxious cats require extra care from someone who is able to read their body language and energy - which I am able to do with ease. Cliché as it sounds, speaking cat is my 2nd language.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
