Caring for my senior girl has given me lots of experience, everything from reading body language to knowing when they are craving attention or space to even administering medication when needed. Beyond my own cats, I cannot resist showing love to cats everywhere. I keep food in my car for strays and happily feed the neighborhood kitties whenever I can. I even spend time at my local animal shelter volunteering my time to their incredible cat team. Cats just have my whole heart!
When I cat sit, I make it my mission to treat your cat like my very own. I will stick to their routine, shower them with affection, and send you updates so you know they are happy and cared for. I would be thrilled to spend time with your little meow meow and make sure they feel safe, loved, and completely spoiled while you are away.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
Before joining Meowtel, I’ve been my friends go to cat sitter for atleast 5 years. I’ve experienced cats hissing at me when I enter into their home, hiding from me, and gradually warming up to my presence after respecting their space. I always feel such pride for cats when they take a chance to come out and hang out with me. I love rewarding them with a churu and as many scratchies as they’ll allow me. I’m very familiar with what a cat needs to grow more comfortable in my presence and make sure they feel taken care of while their favorite person is away ❤️
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
It is very important to me that both you and your pet are very well taken care of during my visits! That means before I meet your cat, I will ask extensive questions about your cat’s routine, their likes and dislikes, triggers, and anything else important I need to consider in order to give you and your cat a very pawsitive experience!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I always like knowing a cat’s habits and triggers so I can take care of them exactly how they need me to. All cats are unique and should be treated as such to make sure they feel safe around my presence!
What is your favorite cat toy?
Because my cat goes nuts for craft puff balls, I love gifting these to my friends and family who are cat parents as well! Most cats go crazy for how lightweight they are and they end up chasing them from room to room. It’s so cute to watch!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I like to adjust my approach based on what a cat needs. If they hide or hiss at me, I know they need more time to familiarize themselves with me. I myself am an introvert and appreciate patience before opening up to someone new. I completely understand why a cat might feel scared or hesitant so it’s my responsibility to help them feel safe and comfortable around me by using a gentle approach.

Cecilia was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond while taking care of our two cats, Rocky and Mickey. From the start, it was clear how much she genuinely loves animals — she even brought a sweet gift for the cats, which they adored! Cecilia made sure they were well cared for, happy, and loved the entire time we were away. She also sent regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in great hands. Rocky and Mickey clearly felt comfortable and spoiled! Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Alhambra cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $37.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
