Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I’ve been so lucky to share the last 11 years of my life with my black cat, Howl. I named her after the great wizard Jenkins from Howl’s Moving Castle! I locked eyes with her for the first time at a Petsmart where I watched her smack another kitten who had jumped in and disrupted her in her cat bed, and in my head I thought “This girls got boundaries, I like her”. It was meant to be, and since then my bond with her has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life so far!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

It is very important to me that both you and your pet are very well taken care of during my visits! That means before I meet your cat, I will ask extensive questions about your cat’s routine, their likes and dislikes, triggers, and anything else important I need to consider in order to give you and your cat a very pawsitive experience!

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I always like knowing a cat’s habits and triggers so I can take care of them exactly how they need me to. All cats are unique and should be treated as such to make sure they feel safe around my presence!

What is your favorite cat toy?

Because my cat goes nuts for craft puff balls, I love gifting these to my friends and family who are cat parents as well! Most cats go crazy for how lightweight they are and they end up chasing them from room to room. It’s so cute to watch!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I like to adjust my approach based on what a cat needs. If they hide or hiss at me, I know they need more time to familiarize themselves with me. I myself am an introvert and appreciate patience before opening up to someone new. I completely understand why a cat might feel scared or hesitant so it’s my responsibility to help them feel safe and comfortable around me by using a gentle approach.

Cecilia was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond while taking care of our two cats, Rocky and Mickey. From the start, it was clear how much she genuinely loves animals — she even brought a sweet gift for the cats, which they adored! Cecilia made sure they were well cared for, happy, and loved the entire time we were away. She also sent regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in great hands. Rocky and Mickey clearly felt comfortable and spoiled! We couldn’t have asked for a better catsitter and would highly recommend Cecilia to anyone looking for someone caring and reliable.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
