What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I get to spend time loving and caring for cute and adorable cats, keeping them happy while their owners are away! Keeping a cat happy and healthy is my goal, and hopefully I will get to achieve that.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two cats! One is named JJ and one is named Cream! JJ is stone faced and silent at first glance, but he’s a big softie who likes to get in bed with me at night and chat, chat, chat! He’s very sweet and always affectionate, though he does plays a little rough. Cream is my cute white cat who is a little bit on the slower side. He’s usually very shy when it comes to people, but with me he talks all day long as if that’s his whole purpose! He reminds me of a dog sometimes, because he will pick up a little plush ball and carry it around after I throw it.
What is your favorite cat toy?
Personally, my favorite cat toy is the little fuzzy balls that are somewhat sparkly! They are my cats’ favorite, so they’re my favorite too! I love watching my cats play with them and carry them around, it’s wholesome cuteness!! 🐱
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Cats that are timid and anxious need to be given time to adjust to a new person in their home. Patience is key in this scenario because if you try to rush the cat, it will only make the process take longer or make it less likely to happen at all. I’d personally sit on the floor and place treats nearby, allowing the cat to associate me with food and a calm/safe environment. Eventually the cat will come out by themself. I may have to move away from the treats if they don’t come out at first. Associating yourself with food and positive things like toys can be helpful with making a cat more comfortable with your presence, because you’re new to them and you don’t want to startle or scare them off.

Nadia would make an excellent cat sitter as she has expertise in that. She has her own cats, and even administers medicine to one of them. She is knowledgable with the way cats are and can familiarize herself around new environments with new cats and know how to take care of them. She is responsible and prioritizes her job of overseeing a cat.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Fullerton cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $32.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
