We’ve worked with her previously for drop-in visits, but this was our first time having her stay overnight, and it made a tremendous difference in our peace of mind while we were away. One of our cats, Colby, has chronic kidney disease and requires a very specific care routine, including subcutaneous fluids, medication, and a specialized diet. Denise handled all of this with confidence and expertise, clearly drawing from her veterinary/med tech background. She was also extremely thoughtful in managing the different dietary needs of both of our cats, ensuring everything was done correctly and consistently. Our other cat can be a bit more particular with new people, but Denise was incredibly patient, intuitive, and respectful of his personality—something we truly appreciated. It’s clear she has a natural ability to read and connect with animals. Throughout the stay, Denise provided excellent communication and updates, which gave us a lot of reassurance. We also came home to a spotless house and two very happy, well-cared-for cats. We trust Denise completely in our home and with our pets, and we will absolutely continue working with her. I was dreading this trip for a family wedding knowing we had to leave our sick kitty at home while in the middle of us also, still ourselves, figuring out her new medication protocol. Anne came in with calm, loving experience gave us detailed video updates multiple times a day and even showed me some new tricks to get her to eat and take her medications. In the time we were gone her appetite and health actually improved from when I was doing it. It’s incredibly emotional and stressful having a sick pet at home and Anne gets it. "We trusted Elizabeth to care for our two boys while we were on a short trip and she was amazing! She was always punctual and attentive with each visit, and sent detailed updates: photos, videos, and notes for each kitty that we enjoyed reviewing! Both of our boys are unaccustomed to changes in their routine and have their own unique quirks. We left instructions for both of them, but suspected they would not cooperate or behave as expected with a new sitter. Elizabeth faithfully followed those instructions, but she let us know when they weren't eating as expected, and she easily adapted to the back-up feeding plan we proposed. One of our kitties is very timid around strangers but warmed up to Elizabeth on just her second visit, playing and snuggling with her, which is record time for him. The other kitty is a fussy eater but Elizabeth had no trouble keeping tabs on each of them and reporting how they were doing. As a side note, we only had expectations for our kitties to be cared for. But Elizabeth went above and beyond, and was so respectful with our home that we felt that our place looked even neater than before we left. My other cat is very shy and rarely warms up to new people, but he became comfortable with Carrie almost right away. After every visit she sent detailed updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Our cat requires medication and Jannet was not only confident about administering the doses, she also sent updates about how the meds had been mixed into our cat’s food- and how much she had eaten. Our cat is also quite skittish and needs a lot of patience. Jannet was very kind and took time to get to know her, and she even sent photos to document their time together. I’ve never used Meowtel before and it was a first for me to hand over my key to a stranger, but the experience was wonderful! I would recommend Jannet to anyone looking for a cat sitter who truly cares about her role and the impact she has on cats and kittens. Having Isabella with my cat gave me so much relief on my trip knowing that she was in good hands. Isabella took excellent care of my cat and my home.
