While we were away, Midnight unexpectedly came out of diabetic remission and had some very concerning blood sugar readings. Danae handled the situation with such calm, compassion, and attentiveness. She quickly initiated his care, was able to start him on his insulin as directed, monitored him closely, and kept us updated every step of the way with videos, pictures, and thoughtful communication. Knowing he was in such capable hands made an incredibly stressful situation so much easier to navigate from afar. She truly went above and beyond, not only meeting their daily needs but giving them extra love and attention that was obvious when we returned home. I am beyond grateful for the care she provided and would trust her with my pets again without hesitation. "I’m so thankful I found Elizabeth to watch my two gals! First and foremost, she was quick to book my relatively last minute request. She took notes and asked questions at our meet and greet. Her updates included all status updates on things like the litterbox, auto feeder updates, water fountain, wet food, etc. As well as lots of sweet video updates of how their visits were. I could tell how happy my cats were, not only by seeing them in her video updates but, listening to how she respected both of my cats’ different boundaries (one’s a bit sassier and one’s a bit more skittish) made me feel so at ease as a helicopter pet parent. I was out of the country for a week and never had to worry about them. On top of that, she watered my many patio plants, was super communicative on where mail/packages/etc ended up, and took trash/recycle out! Last, but not least, she left a very kind “Thank You” note where I could tell that my cats were taken very well care of with how she spoke of each of them. Our cat requires medication and Jannet was not only confident about administering the doses, she also sent updates about how the meds had been mixed into our cat’s food- and how much she had eaten. Our cat is also quite skittish and needs a lot of patience. Jannet was very kind and took time to get to know her, and she even sent photos to document their time together. I’ve never used Meowtel before and it was a first for me to hand over my key to a stranger, but the experience was wonderful! I would recommend Jannet to anyone looking for a cat sitter who truly cares about her role and the impact she has on cats and kittens. Truly, it makes a world of difference having Isabella stay with my cat because I know that she is in good hands and that she is happy and gets to enjoy her outside time. "Denise was absolutely exceptional as our cat sitter. We’ve worked with her previously for drop-in visits, but this was our first time having her stay overnight, and it made a tremendous difference in our peace of mind while we were away. One of our cats, Colby, has chronic kidney disease and requires a very specific care routine, including subcutaneous fluids, medication, and a specialized diet. Denise handled all of this with confidence and expertise, clearly drawing from her veterinary/med tech background. She was also extremely thoughtful in managing the different dietary needs of both of our cats, ensuring everything was done correctly and consistently. Our other cat can be a bit more particular with new people, but Denise was incredibly patient, intuitive, and respectful of his personality—something we truly appreciated. It’s clear she has a natural ability to read and connect with animals. Throughout the stay, Denise provided excellent communication and updates, which gave us a lot of reassurance.
