My name is Anna and I love spending time with my feline friends. Growing up on a farm, I was always surrounded by different aminals, and cats, of course, were a huge part of the farm ecosystem. Moving away from that life was a huge adjustment, but thankfully my family was able to bring our cat Ksenya into the home, and she helped me to settle in. She was majestic, wise, and silly most of the time, and we love her with our whole hearts. I had also adopted two senior kitties - Sparkle and Zoe later on, and was honored to care for them in their golden years. Senior cats have a very special place in my heart because it is incredibly rewarding to absorb their wisdom, and to be able to provide the love and care they deserve... Hello cat parents,

After having my two senior babies transition into the world of memories, and moving to Williamsburg, I dearly missed having a feline friend nearby at all times. This is why I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to care for and to get to know your kitties.
I started in the pet care industry 3 years ago, and today I am fortunate to be doing this full time. You can be assured that your kitty babies will be safe, loved, and cared for as my own. I feel honored to get to know each cat, and it is incredibly exciting to learn everyday, helping to deepen these connections.
I have experience delivering oral medications and injections on a schedule, and also am prepared to deal with emergencies.
When I am not making cat sitting visits, I run my small dog care business. It is rare to see me in the neighborhood without a dog or two. I also enjoy biking, reading and connecting with my community.

Anna saved us! Couldn’t recommend her more highy. Before Anna, we naively thought our cats would be fine for a week, but on day 2 one removed their collar which opens to their food. It was an emergency. Luckily we found Anna, and the next day she not only got it back on, but took good care lf them too. Anna is such an amazing cat sitter! One of our cats was very recently diagnosed with diabetes and we were so stressed to go on Thanksgiving & Christmas holidays. Anna relieved these fears immediately: she has experience giving insulin and was able to expertly continue the daily injections. In addition she sent very detailed summaries of her visits. She is also an expert photographer and has taken some of the best photos of our kitties!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Brooklyn cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!

Anna was a godsend, taking wonderful care of my special man, leaving detailed information about each visit, taking ample photos, but most importantly, she noticed when something with amiss and was able to take him to the emergency vet on her own tim, likely saving Gatsby’s life in the process. Anna has looked after my little guy, Spock, several times now while I’ve been traveling. Before the visits, Anna came by for a meet and greet with my cat and she was very through with thoughtful questions and she took detailed notes. My cat is epileptic and requires medicine.
