I’ve been a cat mom fo... I truly treat my cats like my human children and so i call them my “cids” haha. I also feel like I’ve made more of my friends cat people after showing them how incredibly unique, smart, and interactive they actually are! Sure, dogs are great but i really didn’t feel deep joy until becoming a cat mom and seeing the complexities of a relationship form between each cat. I’m here to make your cid(s) feel loved and taken care of while you’re away and I’d do it any day 🫶🏼
I’ve been a cat mom for 8 years and currently have two adorable girlies that show what sisterhood is actually like (the cuddles, territory setting, all of the above haha).
I’ve also been a parent to a cat with FELV and can administer medications and just provide that extra care. Whether it comes to picking snot out of their nose for them, cleaning up chin acne, I promise to care for your cid(s) like my very own!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
One is a small but mighty tripod, Zo. Rescued her the day after she had her leg amputated from a train accident. She runs, jumps, and never had an issue getting back on her legs as soon as she came home and she really is just like strength embodied in this little body of hers! And Cali, she is just so curious and loves following Zo around and copying her but is finally testing the waters of maybe wearing the boss pants! Started fostering her as a young kitten but her connection with Zo was undeniable and i just had to keep her!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
The question i want to most make sure i can support with is “while you’re away, how can i make you feel better about being away for your cid(s)? Would pictures from every visit help? Short clips of playing together? I know leaving them behind can bring real anxiety cause i know that feeling all too well but pleaseeee let me make you feel at ease anyway i can!
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I typically like to travel or take time to myself on off-seasons so I’m most likely available for all major holidays!

Vic was so wonderful with my 3 girls! She sent me some great pictures and my girls really warmed up to her. Vic really made me feel at ease with my cat’s routine because I have puzzle feeder and licky mats for their food. It didn’t phase Vic at all! I will definitely be booking her again ☺️

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Brooklyn cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
