I'm a creative living in Windsor Terrace with my two long-haired tabbies, Buttercup and Cherry. I am very patient and understand that every cat has its own personality and needs. I never miss playtime and consider it a real treat if a new cat graces me with a headbutt.
As a cat owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust when you're away. I know how essential daily pictures and updates are even when you are far from home. Whether your cat is social and playful or prefers a slower, quieter approach, I'm happy to meet them where they're comfortable.
I'm experienced with long-haired cats, administering basic care, and keeping a close eye on changes in behavior, appetite, or litter box habits. My goal is always to make your cat feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while also keeping you in the loop while you’re away.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two cats. My first one is named Buttercup Cannoli and her little sister is named Cherry Blossom. Buttercup is 4 and Cherry is 1 1/2.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! Most of My family is based in New York so I rarely go away for major holidays. I do not have any upcoming trips.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My favorite cat toy is a wand. I find that some cats are “grounders” and prefer to hunt for prey (play) on the ground. Others like to jump and try to catch the toy “birders”. I like that the wand toy is fun for either cat depending how you use it.

Betsabé is extremely knowledgeable about cats and their needs. She understands their different comfort levels and she effortlessly adapts to make sure each cat feels safe around her. I remember asking her to cat sit for my two very different cats-one is scared of anything new and the other is suspicious of anything new-and I remember feeling worried that they would give her a hard time. By the end of the weekend I received a photo of the three of them hanging out and I was pleasantly surprised, I didn’t know my cats had it in them! Since then Betsy is the first and only person I contact for cat sitting. She’s the best :)

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Brooklyn cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
