I've spent countless hours clicker training my cats and teaching them tricks (something I would gladly do with your cat if you're okay with that). I've also harnessed trained them and spend hours each week taking them on walks in the park. Enrichment is so important to me, so I’m always cooking up new ways to keep my cats and yours busy!
I would love the opportunity to take care of and get to know your cat. As we bond, my camera roll will quickly fill up with photos and videos of your cat, so you can also expect lots of updates from me.
Additionally, if your cat has any special needs (medication, special diet, teeth brushing etc.), I've done it all for my cats and I will gladly do it for yours... I'm a life-long cat lover with immense patience and willingness to meet cats where they are. Our kitties are family and I know how scary it can be to leave them in another person's care. I treat every cat with the patience and tenderness I show my own.

**Safety**
I have pet sitters insurance and I am pet first aid/CPR certified!
I'm very careful about the toys, objects, and food items cats encounter around the house. Once you learn more about a cat's personality, you also learn which ones you have to keep a close eye on and when. I don't think you can ever be to careful when it comes to safety. Their health is so precious and I would never put them in danger. I don’t open windows and I will get out of my cozy bed to double and triple check things just to be safe.
**My Schedule**
I work freelance and set my own hours, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to be there for your pet. Morning, noon, or night, just let me know what you need!
**Fun Stuff!**
I love finding new and creative ways to play with cats. Every cat has a different type of play style, so I pay close attention to the toys that make them go crazy and then find new games to play. I also love running around, so I'm always ready for the zoomies. I also like to use items around the house to make puzzle toys (ex. toilet paper rolls, egg cartons, etc.). I also love building forts in the living room.
I also like to train my animals and teach positive behaviors, so if you're okay with it, I would love to teach your cat some tricks! I also love to include my cats in everything I do -- I'm constantly letting my cats smell all the things I'm working with and I love giving them a front row seat to the action, even if it's just folding laundry.

Honestly, tell me everything! I'm the person that created a five page manual for her cats, so I want to know everything about yours.
How does your cat usually do with strangers and what's the best way to approach them and earn their trust? What are their boundaries (ex. no belly rubs or don't sit in her favorite spot). How does your cat like to be pet, if at all? Where are their usual hiding spots? Do you have a special sponge for the cat bowls?! And obviously any medications or special foods!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been cat sitting for 3 years and during that time, I’ve seen it all. I’ve dealt with medications, various health conditions, anxious cats, senior cats, kittens, and more! There is no routine that is too complicated or involved for me. I know cats have their quirks and Im happy to indulge them.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two adventerous and demanding kitties named Ackee and Bammy. I’ve spent countless hours on harness training, clicker training, and fluentpet button training. I am big on enrichment and finding new ways to engage my cats and I love sharing everything that I’ve learned with you and your kitties!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to schedule a quick video call to make sure were on the same page. If that goes well, we can do an in-person meet and greet where we get into all the details of your kitty’s care. Once you feel comfortable, we can confirm your booking. Our babies are so important and I want to make sure that you’re 100% comfortable.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
