My current kitty companion is Shebie, a 3-year old tabby, who I rescued from the woods as a kitten. My senior cat, Cozmo, just recently passed after 19 amazing years together (he had been with me since I graduated high school).

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

First, I want to know what you'd like out of the cat-sitting experience. I'm here to put your mind at ease! Ideally, I would love to do a meet and greet first to foster familiarity and get acquainted with one another.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

It's all about patience, slow movement, and a reassuring voice. And the occasional treat never hurts. My cat, Shebie, is very timid and skittish, so I have direct experience with cats who are a bit on the anxious side. Above all, I'll take you and your kitty's lead on how best to make them feel as comfortable as possible. It's all about building trust in the unique ways your cat responds to.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
